You woke up to the feeling of sheer pain in your abdomen. But just as fast it happened, it went away almost close to the same time.
When you were a little more awake, you started smelling a warm breakfast being prepared down in the kitchen in which you had assumed where Taylor was. You pulled off your covers and went downstairs to the kitchen, Taylor didn't have to turn to see who was there, she knew it was you there without having to turn around to look behind her.
"Good morning, sweetie! How'd you sleep?" Just as you were about to respond, you felt that sharp pain again, causing you to groan a little bit. Taylor turns around and looks at you with a worried look.
"What's wrong?"
"Just a bit of a stomach ache, that's all." You reply, the pain once again quickly fading away.
As the both of you shrugged it off, you started helping Taylor in setting up the table for breakfast. Just as you grabbed the last plate to set on the table and made your way to set it down, it came back. Much worse this time, causing you take a hold of where it was hurting and crouched down to the ground, dropping the plate and taking hold of the leg of the table to try and support yourself up just as Taylor came rushing to aid you.
"What's wrong, honey?" She wrapped her arm around your shoulders as you asked her to call an ambulance.
"Call an ambulance!" She wasted no time in doing so.
When the paramedics arrived, they wouldn't allow Taylor to ride in with you, so she followed behind in her car. Once you were there, you were provided a hospital room that had room for only two people. The room had chairs for visitors on either side of the bed, and there was a tv hung on the wall. As soon as the doctor came in with results, Taylor was the one to speak first, asking what was causing you to be in this kind of pain.
Neither of you expected to hear what the test results had to say.
"We are looking at a possible appendicitis. We'll hold her in for observation tonight than tomorrow, she'll probably need surgery."
Taylor gasps as you remained quiet as panic kicked in. Than you were finally able to find the what to say.
"I'm having surgery?!" You in disbelief.
Taylor pulls you close to her side as she could get you to be as the doctor continued on the subject.
"Now, Ms. L/n, if you sign these forms, we can get you settled into another room for the night and Taylor is welcome to stay overnight with you." You nod you're head without saying anything.
After signing the forms, you and Taylor were assigned to a different room to make it so there'd be room enough for the both of you. It was one hell of a restless night as you couldn't get any rest as you were too worried of what tomorrow would bring you. You discussed with Taylor for a while of what could possibly go wrong. There was just enough room on the bed for Taylor to join you, she pulls you in and wraps her arms of comfort around you as you let your head rest on her chest. Her fingers began to run through your hair which she knew that always helped soothed you. She has even started singing once of her songs like a lullaby to you.
"I said remember this moment. In the back of my mind. The time we stood with our shaking hands, the crowds in stands went wild. We are the kings and the queens, and they read up our names...."
You don't remember falling asleep, but you woke up to the sound of Taylor speaking to your doctor.
"Oh this is wonderful! Thank you so much for taking care of her, us." You hear her say.
"It's what I'm best at. You folks have a good day!" Once you were sure it was just Taylor in the room with you, you decided to let her know you're awake and open your eyes.
When she sees you're awake, she walks over to your side and hugs you.
"The rest results yesterday were inaccurate, so you won't be needing surgery! We can even head back for home today! But your doctor said you should spend the rest of your day resting up and taking it easy."
You sighed in relief as you heard these words.
"Let's go!" After leaving the hospital, and once you got home, Taylor made sure you were following orders from your doctor.
The next day was like nothing happened at all. It was back on to your everyday little routines.
