You were on the girl's softball team, it was a sport you loved and had so much passion for ever since your high school years. After you graduated, you continued to play and once you found a team to join, you without any hesitation, joined the team and they welcomed you with open arms.

You have many supporters from family and friends, but none other than your girlfriend, Taylor. Today you had another game and like every game, she had come to support you along with you family. It was a beautiful thing to see them sitting on the benches and holding up homemade signs with your name on them as they cheered for you. The only down part of this game today was today was a gloomy day, it rained earlier and yet the clouds were still rolling in and you were performing your game on a wet grass field. However, you and your team got together with your coach and decided you weren't going to let a little rain stop you from playing this game and the game was on. So, here you are, waiting for the pitcher to make her move so you can make your own move in catching the ball in your gloved hand. When the hit came, you wasted no time in making your run for it as your name could be heard.

When you started your run, you had made a small jump in an attempt to catch the ball in your glove, only to slip on the wet grass.

It caused you to fall hard as you sprained your ankle and hit your chin on the hard impact. You felt the wind knock out of you and prayed silently that your teeth were all still there. You laid there for a minute, trying to compose yourself before trying to get up yourself and get back in the game. You got to the point of propping yourself up on your elbows, barely sitting up when you saw the medics rushing to your aid as well as Taylor and your mom.

"Oh my god, Y/n! Are you okay?!" She asked, in a panicked tone.

"I'm fine, Tay. I really-" You hissed and jumped little as one of the medics made contact with your sprained ankle.

"Shit!"

After being looked over, you were advised to sit out the rest of this game and the next few in order to heal. Although you were bummed out and felt discouraged, you still stayed and cheered your team on rather than letting Taylor take you home right away.

When the game was over, Taylor took you home and pampered you for the evening and the days ahead.
