"Ah! We're here..." I said while looking at the snowy mountain before us, in the early morning of winter.
"Skiing?" Dazai commented while tucking his hands unto his coat.
Before we arrived here, Dazai and I had to stop by at a clothing store for his clothes. It's already winter and I'm sure his formal clothes aren't enough to keep him warm. Besides, how will we have fun if he's wearing slacks and buttoned shirts?
We're skiing!
"Yeah. I've always wanted to try this!" I smiled at him while pointing to the chair lifts going uphill.
Dazai's eyes shined after seeing how high the lifts were.
He's probably thinking again of some new method of suicide...
"Oohhh, I see now. The snow! Yuko-chan, what will happen if you jump from 100 feet and land on the snow?" He asked while I dragged him towards the admission to pay for our entrance.
"Depends on what kind of snow you're lending to, I guess? If it's soft, it'll be like a pillow. If not, then you'll break your limbs and be incapacitated." I answered while going to our lockers to prepare.
"Oooohhh!!!"
Dazai and I picked the snowboard and we both proceeded to ride the lifts.
I wonder if Dazai know how to skii, because I don't. But I'm sure we'll manage though...

Dazai kept looking down us, eyes gleaming with excitement. Excited to jump off our lift, to be exact...
"You're telling me there's no assurance whether I'll die or not if I jump here? I want to try!" Dazai raised the bars in front of us, preparing for his snowy demise.
I looked at him impassively.
"Tch! Let's ski first, Dazai. You can think of jumping later after we're done." I said while putting back our lift's handle in place.
"You'll jump with me, Yuko-chan?" Dazai gasped and looked at me extremely touched.
I said he can jump later, but that doesn't mean I'll come along with him.
Do you know how far it is from the entrance if we were to walk back? I'll just wait for him at the bottom of the hill if that happens.
"Nah, I'll just wait for the guards to bring your body back to the entrance. I'll wait for you there." I replied.

We hopped off the lift and looked down at the slope. There were some people who went first before us and so we watched first on how they did it.
"It looks easy, don't you think?" I glanced at Dazai.
