Chapter 30

"Let's break up!" sabi ni Sophie sa 'kin.

Hindi ko alam kung ano ang dahilan nya kung bakit gusto niyang makipaghiwalay. Am I a burden to pursue her dreams and goals?

"What else do you want? Gagawin ko! H'wag lang 'to, Sophie! Ano pa ba kulang?! San ako nagkulang?" Sabi ko. Gulong gulo ako sa kanya.

"Ayoko na! maghiwalay na tayo! Naiintindihan mo ba ako? Narealize ko na marami pa akong gustong gawin, my ambitions... my dreams haunted me, I can feel the urge to pursue my passion in modelling." Tila ba nauubusan na ng pasensya sa pagpapaintindi sa 'in na gusto na niyang makipaghiwalay.

She took a deep sharp sighed, "At hindi ko yun maabot kung mananatili pa itong relationship natin," medyo humina ang boses nito.

Yumuko ako, wala na akong lakas para makapag salita pa. pikit mata akong tumango kahit na labag sa kalooban ko. It's not easy to let go of something you've put everything. But it's harder to realize later on that you've been regret it.

Muli akong tumingin sa kanya. "Can we make a promise?" there is a hope in my tone.

I saw her eyes rolled. "Fine!" in her fragment voice.

I reach her elbow, namumungay ang mata kong tumitig sa kanya. "Promise me you're going come back to me, kapag natupad mo na ang lahat ng pangarap mo, I will wait for you 'till you came back."

She stilled, she slightly parted her lips as she looked back at me. "What? Are you out of your mind?-"

"-Just promise me!" agap ko.

Sa huli ay tumango lang ito, para matapos lang ang usapan. "Okay! Just let me go!"

Hinayaan ko siyang umalis at lumipad papuntang US kasama ang mga magulang nito. Until Sophie became the first pinay featured in a famous magazine in US.

After 1 year, nalaman ko na lang na may dina-date nang boyfriend si Sophie sa US. So, I tried to accept it over and over again 'till one day, I just woke up and realize that I don't have any feelings for Sophie, and she just became part of my past.

I decided to dedicate my life at work and do my responsibilities. I travelled back and forth from manila to Palawan, to helped my mother to manage our Hotel resort there, While Kai is still studying college in Manila. My work became my number one priority, I have no time for entertaining girls around me.

They say love hurts, but I'm ready to take that risk again if I fall in love once again, naisip-isip ko na kung naibigay ko ang best ko sa maling tao, sa tamang tao pa kaya?
