PART ONE: FRESHMAN YEAR

The idea and inspiration for this story came to me out of nowhere. I was sitting in my bedroom, trying to come up with a new story to write. I knew for sure I wanted it to be written like diary entries, or pen pal letters.
I've never written a story like this before, in this format or with two different POVs. I'm used to dialogue and scene changes and just one POV. It's definitely different, but challenging and a little easier on me.
I came up with the title 'DEAR D' while sitting on my bed, on my laptop, and I actually went through the whole alphabet before deciding on the letter 'D'
I started writing this story October 27th, 2020 and finished writing March 25th, 2021
