DELIA

May 12th
Dear D,
Love is dead. Nothing is real anymore. I knew good things wouldn't last. For me, at least. Nothing good stays for long. I was born unlucky. I've had the most horrible week. THE WORST! Alison and I broke up yesterday. It came out of nowhere. We're sitting in her room after school, watching a movie, and she springs out of nowhere that she has a serious question to ask me. At first, I thought it was her issue with you, but she absolutely blew me away with this question.

Alison wanted to know if I would be interested in a threesome. Her, me, and some guy from her math class. You know me, Dimitri. You know I'm not into guys. GIRLS! I like girls. Apparently for the last few months, she's been curious about being with a guy. She wants me there as 'support'. Then she told me when we make out, she imagines that guy from her math class instead.

Of course, I'm supportive of whatever Alison wants. If she needs to experiment with a few guys and figure out what she wants, I'm all for it. But she didn't want to do it alone. She also wanted me to have sex with this guy. This caused the biggest fight we've ever had. I told her I wasn't comfortable being with a guy (and I have no desire whatsoever). She said I was being selfish because I wouldn't do this with her. If I loved her, I'd do whatever she'd want. Blah, blah, blah.

You'll never guess what she said next. She admitted to already having sex with that guy from her math class. They've been hooking up for months. Alison did some experimenting on her own without telling me. If she had just come to me about it in the first place, it wouldn't be a problem. But she kept it a secret. She only wanted to have a threesome so she could have an excuse to break up with me.

That's my life, ladies and gentlemen. I'm never falling in love again.

Love, Delia
