DELIA
July 7th
Dear D,
Sounds like your 4th was fun. Mine was fine. Aunt Sue, my cousins, and I went up to our cabin for the weekend. We went swimming, had a BBQ, and had a fireworks show in honor of Uncle James. It was the best fireworks show ever. He'd love it. I included some pictures I took. It was such a beautiful night.I'm dreading school. I don't want to go back. Part of me is hoping the school will burn to the ground or get hit by a giant meteor. I'm cool with either. I've been feeling kind of down, so I have to force and motivate myself to write these letters. Nothing to worry about, I just haven't been in a writing mood. I think dust is starting to collect on my laptop.
So you and Aaron are... good? That's good. I think. I just want you to be happy. Be careful. I hope you have fun on the best damn date you've ever had. Eat some cake for me. And YES! Dennis can TOTALLY come when we finally meet. I want to meet the little guy.
Update: The twins are back in the treehouse. At first, it was only for minutes a time, but now they're in there for hours. Last night they had a sleepover in the treehouse. I'm glad Henry and Oscar are starting to heal. They wanted my help decorating, so we hung Christmas lights.
Love, Delia
