DIMITRI
February 17th
Dear D,
So, it's true. You're gone. It's not a cruel joke. It's not a bad prank. I saw the news article this morning. What is wrong with you, Delia?! Why did you have to go and leave me? Didn't you think about how this would make me feel? I'm so mad at you! I'm so mad I could almost hate you. But I can't. I love you. You're gone and I still love you, Delia Young. But you're selfish. So selfish! How could you tell me in a letter? Little cliché, don't you think? Coming from the author? Why write a letter instead of a call or text? I could've helped you! I could've tried and talked you out of it. You did it on purpose. You knew a week would pass before I ever got your letter and you'd already be gone. I wouldn't be able to change anything.
That's so cruel of you.
Love, Dimitri
