DIMITRI
May 26th
Dear D,
Last day of senior year. You were so close. But I made it. For both of us. I am so proud of you. I hope you know that. I will always be proud of you. Graduation is this weekend. It doesn't even feel real.I don't want graduation to come. After that, you're gone. No more letters. Just a distant memory in my mind. Writing to you has become my new normal. I don't know how to be 'normal' normal again. I can't even remember what my life was like before I met you.
You'll live on in my heart forever, Delia Young. I can promise that.
Love, Dimitri
