28. nothing's really impossible.

The AVENGERS have decided to move to Grimmauld with Felicity and Sirius. The couple was more than willing on keeping the team there because of the relationship they have created.

As Sirius helped Tony and Steve into moving the other team members into their rooms, Nat and Pepper were sitting in the kitchen with Fel having a conversation. The woman was more than happy to have new girl friends seeing that hers have abruptly left her.

"So, Felicity, how long have you and Sirius been together?" Nat asked as she placed her cup down on the table. The Evans let out a laugh, "Oh geez, I- more than 15 years? I've been asleep for most of it and he's incarcerated so. I'm not entirely sure." She said as she sipped her tea.

Pepper hummed, "That's a long time apart." She said. Fel hummed and nodded, "I guess it is. Me and him don't really talk about it. We much rather want to live in today than worry about the past." She said. 

Pep nodded and smiled, "That's a good way to live. Although, do you not both just talk about I don't know marriage? It's been a long time." She said.

Fel stopped and she pursed her lips. "Uh oh. Is it a sensitive topic?" Nat asked. Fel shook her head, "No. Its not, it never really crossed our minds. I mean even before, Maria and our other friends wanted us to get together but we never really saw the rush of things." She said.

Nat nodded, "But how about now?" she asked. She shrugged, "I don't know. Believe me, I would love to spend the rest of my life with him. No matter how long it would seem." She said. She picked on the corners of her cup and the two women looked at each other.

"What do you mean?" Pep asked. Fel sighed, "Its just. I haven't shown any sign of ageing and with this war I can't really have the time to look for answers." She said as she sighed. "That's not only it is it?" Nat asked.

Fel sighed again and rubbed her face, "Sirius always wanted a family of his own. A family that's nothing like his before. And I- I don't..." she stopped herself and looked at the door making sure Sirius wasn't there.

"I don't think I can." She said. Pep grabbed her hand, "What do you mean?" she asked. 

Fel sighed, "Whatever those witches did to me, something changed. In me, there's no saying if I could even have kids or if I would ever age again." She said.

The women gasped but then looked at each other. They sighed and smiled at her, "Don't worry. Everything will work out." Nat said. Pepper nodded, "Nothing's really impossible now." She said. Fel looked at her in confusion.

Nat hummed and shook her head, "I mean have you seen us? Radiation experiment gone wrong, brainwashing, mutations, telepathy and assassins as well as wars and time travel and aliens? Yeah those were things I thought were impossible before but here we are." She said.

Fel nodded, "I just don't want to see him hurt because he can't have what he always wanted. That I can't give it to him." She said. She sighed and wiped her face, "The fact that I just got him back, so much time wasted and it feels like time is moving so fast. And with me not ageing, I don't think I can handle being left in this world without him." She said.

The women nodding in understanding and continued to talk some hope into her, but what the women didn't know was Sirius was on the stairs frozen at what he heard.

He wasn't upset, no Merlin knows he isn't. His heart broke for the person he loved so much, knowing that she's blaming herself for his happiness was one of Sirius' nightmares. He shook his head and sighed.

Brushing his fingers in his hair, he bit his lips thinking of a way to make it all better. All he wanted to do was make everything better, to live his life with Fel and for them to have that happy ending together.

But now hearing that, he wasn't sure on how to do that anymore. "Oh Lily... James... I wish you both were here to help me." He whispered as he sighed.
