Evie Pov
We pulled up to the boys house, some music could be heard from here and lights shown from the backyard.

It was getting dark out, the sun was almost out of view as the dark purple and grey sky shown above us.

I stepped out of the car, Freya stood next to me as Corbyn walked up to the door, opening it for us to go in.

I walked in, almost immediately getting attacked by Kobe.

"Hi Kobe! Did you miss me that much?" I laughed as i pet him.

"Aw he's so cute" Freya held her hand out for him to sniff.

"Hey Corbyn, i was wondering when you'd get here" a voice said, making me stand up to see who it was.

"Yea i had to go get Evie and her friend" Corbyn said to the boy, he had blond hair and looked a lot like Corbyn actually.

"Uh sorry but, which one's Evie?" The boy laughed as he looked at Freya and i.

"Im Evie, this is Freya" i raisd my hand up.

"Oh your Evie, Corbyn's has mentioned you before but he's been busy and hasn't realy spoke to me very often" the boy said and Corbyn rolled his eyes playfully.

"I will explain everything, and Evie, this is my brother Jordan" Corbyn announced.

"Oh thats why you two look alike" i laughed.

"So you two can go out to the pool, you can change to your swimsuits if you want while i go and explain things to Jordan" Corbyn pulled Jordan away.

"Explain what?" Freya asked as we made our way out back.

"Things, private things" i told her as i walked.

"Why have you been so secretive lately?" She asked me.

"There's a lot going on and i really just dont want to talk about it, i will tell you eventually but untill then lets just try to have some fun" i smiled as we came to some glass doors.

"Fine, lets go" she smiled and we pushed the doors open to see a bunch of people, half of them i did not recognize.

Music was playing and there was some disco lights and people swimming and dancing and talking.

There were a few pumpkins and fake spider webs.

"Evie!" I heard a familiar voice call and i turned to see Gabbie smiling at me.

"Hey, this is a cool party" i smiled.

"Yea it is, whose this?" She asked gesturing to Freya.

"This is my bestie Freya" i told her.

"Nice to meet you im Gabbie, why dont you change into your swimsuits so we can go in the pool" Gabbie suggested, she was already in her suit.

Before i could say anything i was being dragged away by Freya back into the house.

It took a minute to find the bathroom but we managed and now changed into our suits.

I wore a black bikini, not to revealing because that makes me uncomfortable.

Freya wore her favorite white bikini, that had light blue tie dye spots.

As i looked in the mirror i turned my body too look at my backside, my eyes fell upon the large and long scars across my back.

The four claws that viciously sliced through my skin that night.

They were more than visible with my bikini, anxiety setting itself in my stomach that everyone will see.

Freya stood behind me, her expression softened seeing the look on my face.

"You'll be okay, you have delt with the attention before" she said softly.

"Its not like it's easy Freya, all the looks i get because of it, like im different because of it" i turned twards her.

"Oh look its that girl who survived the animal attack" i mocked what people have said about me before.

"Those people were just insensitive dobbers" Freya scoffed.

"Um, dobbers?" I giggled.

"Fools, they dont understand what you went through, and if anyone decides to judge you here about it then i will do something and we leave" she reassured me.

We came back to the pool and Gabbie stood there waiting for us.

"Lets go" Freya grabbed my hand and Gabbie quickly followed along.

Freya dived into the pool, Gabbie quickly after her and i jumped in, feeling the water hit my body, engulfing me before i swam back to the surface.

I came up wiping the water from my eyes able to breath again.

"Hi Evie" i heard Zach say and i turned around seeing him in the water with me.

"Hola como estas?" I asked him and his face scrunched in confusion he was thinking.

I said hello how are you in Spanish, just to see his reaction.

"Uh bien" he answered, that means good.

"You speak Spanish?" He asked.

"Yea i have been taking it for four years" i told him.

"I took it for two years and it didn't work" Zach laughed.

"Is there anything you want to know how to say?" I swam over to him.

"Do you know how to say bitch in Spanish?" Hope and excitement in his eyes that i would know.

"Wow Zach, you want to know how to cuss in Spanish" i laughed.

"Its puta" i told him.

He gasped and turned to the other side of the pool.

"Hey Jack!" He called out.

"What?" Jack called back.

"Your a puta!" I bursted out with laughter at Zach, Jack taking on a confused expression.

"Bueno el trabajo" i said and Zach gave me another confused expression.

"Good job" i laughed.

"Hey Zach, Evie, what did you just call Jack?" Daniel came and sat next to the pool, dangling his feet in the water.

"Evie told me how to say bitch in spanish!" Zach told him.

"Puta means bitch? Imma say that more often just so i can cuss at people without them knowing what im saying" Daniel laughed.

"Daniel Seavey!" I scolded him but both the boys laughed.

I splashed Zach with water and he stumbled back, wiping his eyes.

"Oh your gonna get it" Zach stated before splashing me, a much bigger splash then i gave him.

We proceeded to have a splash war.

"Alright, alright" i heard Jack say and we stopped to look at him.

"There's no need to fight with water...without me" he smirked at the last part and splashed both of us before we furiously started splashing each other as i laughed.

Okay so we got a cute ending, im trying to make it so Evie gets to know the others and develop a bond with all of them.
