My whole body felt pained from the blast that Evie sent as Jack helped me off the ground.

Daniel, Zach and Jonah were in the pool with an unconscious Evie and Corbyn as they got them out of the water.

Tate stood at the edge of the pool as the guys set down Corbyn and Evie, Tate was clearly in pain.

I ran over to everyone, Jack quickly beside me and nelt down next to Evie.

"What happened?" Daniel asked.

"The process must have taken a toll on Evie, but why is Corbyn unconscious?" I asked with a bit of excitement in my voice.

"He felt it, the mate bond" Jonah let a small laugh slip.

"YES!" Zach and i both chanted in unison and giving each other a look afterwards.

"I knew it" Tate crossed her arms with a proud smile.

"Well we need to find a way to dry them and put them inside now" Jack said.

I took my wand out and pointed it at the two sleeping figures and they slowly became dryer.

I made the water evaporate from their clothes and bodies untill there was no water left.

"That works" Zach chuckled.

He then picked up Evie, while Jonah and Jack both carried Corbyn and we proceeded inside.

I followed them to Corbyn's room were they layed them down side by side on the bed, it seemed only fitting since we now know that they really are mated together.

"How long untill they wake up?" Jonah asked me in concern.

"I have no idea, but when they do we wait for them to come out so they can sort everything out, it should be a sweet moment" i told him.

We all began our way back to the living room to talk.

"So now what? Evie is now unleashed, the council will be coming for her and her and Corbyn are mates" Zach rambled.

"We train her now, so that she can fight against them" Jonah sat down.

"And them two being mates is a much appreciated bonus" Tate laughed.

"How do we train her? We dont know what it is that she can do" Daniel said.

"Clearly she has some sort of Telekinesis, remember how everything around us lifted into the air" I said.

"I remember vividly" Tate said recalling how she was sitting in a chair when it lifted into the air.

"And she seems to be able to manipulate light energy, thats why her power is so bright and pulsating" i continued "So her power is literally energy manipulation."

"I never thought that light energy could be that damn powerful" Jack leaned back in a huff.

"So then, where do we train her? We cant train a Gifted to use her powers next to the pool" Daniel said.

"There's a place in the woods, its large field surrounded by trees, away from people, we train her there" Jonah said.

"Hey doesn't Evie have school tomorrow?" Jack sat up.

"She told me she doesn't go to school on her birthday" Tate informed us.

"Lucky..." Zach and Jack murmured at the same time as they both turned to each other and laughed.

"So what did everyone get Evie for her birthday?" Tate asked, peaking my attention.

The boys all had pale faces as they all began looking at each other.
