It was pretty awkward. I mean, we sung Sit Down You're Rocking the Boat, which is from a musical made 50 years ago. I wasn't that great at dancing. Singing...I was okay. I just couldn't dance.
"Rachel, I swear on everything that is holy, if the next words that come out are about you, I'm going to rip out your vocal chords." I declared. She just stood there and looked at me. "Mr. Schuester, we need more people. With it only being the six of us. There aren't enough people to keep up with me vocally."
I threw my hands up in defeat. She was a real narcissist, wasn't she? "I can coach Artie a little.." She shook her head and stormed out. "Can we just kick her out?" Everyone's eyes turned to me. "What? She's a bitch."

It was later that day when I realized that glee might not be the best thing for me. I was walking into rehearsal, when I stopped and just stood there. "Hi, Mr. Shue, not to pull a Rachel, but, Finn? What are you doing here?"
He walked over to me. "Mr. Shue found weed in my locker--I don't even know how it got there--and he told me that if I joined glee, then he wouldn't tell mom." My whole face dropped. "You had weed in your locker?"
"That's beside the point. I have to sing."
"So? You sing all the time in the shower...and in your room. It's no surprise." He just stared at me. "A.J. I have to sing." I shrugged. "That's great, Finn. Just get over it." I set my bag down next to one of the chairs on the stage. I walked over and stood next to Finn. It was either Finn or Rachel, it's pretty obvious I don't like Rachel.
The music started and off we went. Of course, we had to sing a song from a musical. Nothing like the music that I liked. Musicals were okay. I would very much rather sing something from a recent musical, if anything. Not Grease.
Anyway, rehearsal ended and we all left the auditorium. I walked as fast as I possibly could to try and stay away from Finn. He was already bothering me about joining glee. Now he joined? Weed or no weed, Finn was in glee club.
I was finishing up at my locker when Scarlett scared me again. "A.J, this is Lexie." I smiled at the girl standing next to her. "I wanna join glee club." I cocked my head to the side and chuckled a bit. I glanced over at Scarlett who was mouthing the words "Because of Finn". I stared at her for a moment before realizing what she was saying. "Oh. Yeah. Um, come with me. You can sing in front of Mr. Shue, and join."
She looked at me. I glanced back and forth between Lexie and Scarlett not knowing what to do. "Right. So, you two go along. And Lexie, I will talk to you later, okay?" Scarlett said to her. She nodded. Scarlett turned and headed the other way. Lexie and I began down the hall to the room where Mr. Shue was.
"You're Finn's younger sister, right?"
I nodded. "I may be younger, but I am much more mature." I told her, smirking a bit. "Do you think he'll notice me?" I nodded. "Yeah. I mean, he has a girlfriend right now and Rachel Berry is all over him, but yeah, Lexie. I think he'll notice you."
The girl smiled brightly and I continued leading her down to where Mr. Shue was.
