After a while, I started to make up with Finn. It was different. We were...closer in a way. Of course, he was still pissed at me. I was still going out with Puck. You really thought that I wouldn't keep going out with him? Come on. You know that's not who I am. It had been...about a month. Lexie and Finn had been going out for about the same time. So, a month. They still hadn't done the deed yet. I mean, I get it. Lexie wanted to save herself for the one person she really loved and Finn...just didn't know what he was doing.

I was pretty surprised about what Puck told me. "Rachel Berry is having a party at her house this weekend. Are you gonna go? It's mainly just glee." I sighed and shut the locker. "Rachel Berry? She is as innocent as a puppy under a rainbow. I'll need alcohol." He just stared at me. "You've had alcohol before?"

I nodded. "Living with Finn isn't as easy as you think it is. I started on wine coolers when I was in eighth grade." He just stared at me for a minute. "Isn't eighth grade when we-" I held my hand up. "Eighth grade was a strange year for me. But, you can't mention that in front of Finn. He still thinks I'm a virgin. It would kill him to know that his girlfriend and sister's virginity was taken by the same guy."

"It's been nearly three years. You haven't told him yet?" I shook my head. "A.J, you can't just not tell him."

"I can do whatever I want, Puck. It's my relationship with him. I don't want to jeopardize it by a stupid mistake I made when I was thirteen." He just looked at me. "You thought it was a mistake?" I cocked my head to the side and furrowed my eyebrows. "You're looking at me weird." He shook his head. "I am not looking at you weird. I am looking at you normally." I rolled my eyes. "Okay, whatever. Listen, I have to go to English, but if you want, the new Twilight movie is coming out on Saturday...I can get us tickets."

He nodded. "Yeah, that'll be cool. Saturday." I nodded, awkwardly and began walking away. It was awkward, whatever was going on. Something weird was going on. He was giving me a look that looked like the look that someone gives when they're in love. It was weird. It freaked me out a little bit. What could I possibly do? It wasn't like I could say something about it. He was trying to not make it obvious.

I bumped into Finn and Lexie in the hall on the way to English. I must have looked like I had seen a ghost. "A.J, are you alright?" I stopped and just looked ahead. "Finn...I need to talk to you in private." He nodded and looked at Lexie. "I'll see you in Spanish, alright?" Lexie looked back and forth between me and him before finally nodding and walking ahead.

"What is it?" I grabbed him by the sleeve and drug him into the nearest classroom (it was empty of course. Did you really think I was going into a classroom with people?). "I think...Puck is in love with me." He just stared at me. "Isn't that why you're going out with him?" I shook my head. "No...I was going out with him to piss you off. But, it's getting really serious and...I don't know what to do. I'm not ready for a real relationship.."

He was frozen. It was only the second time I had seen him like this since the whole Quinn thing, but she was a lesbian now. Why is nobody talking about that? She was straighter than a ruler before the summer came. Apparently, having a kid changes people. Some people say that it makes you 'soft'. Yeah, no. I don't do 'soft'. My children will have to be the cutest kids in the world to make me soft. That might be possible if they get my genes. Yes, I know that sounds conceited, but it's the truth.

"You can't tell him we had this conversation." I said to him. He nodded. "Are you going to Rachel's party this weekend?" He nodded. "Yeah. I'm the designated driver. I'll take you too, if you need me too." I smiled lightly. "That might be nice."

"Finn! You're late for Spanish. Mr. Shue is looking for you." Scarlett said to him, peering into the room we were standing in. She stared at me for a moment before turning and running towards the Spanish room. "I have to go, but I'll see you in glee rehearsal." I nodded and watched as my one person that I could always talk to left the room. At this moment, I felt like the only person in the world. It felt terrible.
