I stood in my room, looking to find the right dress. It was kind of weird staying at a house without just my mom and Finn. When I would sneak out, it would be a lot harder. I looked all throughout the closet. My entire closet was on the bed. "How about this one?" I held up a red dress and turned around. "Uh uh. Red isn't your color."

"What's my color? Black?"

Kurt nodded and grabbed one of the many black dresses from my closet. "Who are you going out with anyway?" I looked down to the floor. "It's nobody, alright? Besides, even if I did tell you, it still wouldn't be your business because it's my business. Now, let me get dressed. It'll take me five minutes and then you can come and critique me on what my makeup and hair look like." He got up and left the room, leaving me to get dressed.

Every time someone asked who I was going out with, I never answered. Finn didn't even know I was going to Breadstix. He had left ten minutes ago to go and pick up Lexie. Puck was coming to pick me up, if he even remembered. When I finished getting dressed, Kurt came back in and just looked at it for a minute. "I need my hair and makeup done. He's supposed to be here soon."

"So, you're never going to tell me who it is?"

I shook my head. "No. It doesn't matter who it is, Kurt. I just need to go. Now, I need you to do my hair, while I do the makeup. It'll get everything done faster."

Right as I finished everything, there was a car horn honk from outside. "Alright, I have to go. But, I promise when I get home, I will tell you everything."

"Fine. Will you tell me who it is then?"

"Depends on how I feel about it." I smirked as I ran out of the room. His car was outside, except it wasn't a car. It was a motorcycle. A motorcycle. "You want me...to ride on a motorcycle....in a dress...and heels?" He just stared at me for a minute. "Are we gonna go to Breadstix or not?" I sighed and grabbed the helmet that he was handing me. "If I loose anything on this motorcycle, I am never going out with you again."

"This was your idea."

"Your point, exactly?"

He rolled his eyes and started the motorcycle to go to the restaurant. It wasn't a very far ride to Breadstix. When we got there, we went inside. Our reservation was already made and of course, the hostess just so happened to give us the table right next to Finn and Lexie.

"Can I get you something to drink?" The waitress asked us. "Just a water for me please." I said. "A Pepsi." The waitress nodded. "Okay, do you not have manners?" I asked, leaning forward. "I have manners. I just don't choose to use them." I rolled my eyes. At this point, I could feel Finn glaring at me. It wasn't that difficult to know that he was staring at me.

"A.J?" I turned my head, nonchalantly, trying to make it seem like I didn't know that he was there. "Oh, hi Finn. Lexie. What are you guys doing here?"

"You knew I was going to be here. what are you guys doing here?" I smirked a little. "I'm on a date, Finn. Aren't you doing the same thing?" He just glared back and forth between me and Puck. "Seriously?" I nodded. "Seriously. Why is there something wrong with it, Finn?"

"We are talking when you get home. Because obviously, I will be there before you." I smirked. "Deal."

The two of us stopped talking for a while and we all finished everything. When Lexie and Finn got up to leave, I could finally be myself again. "Wow. He was angry."

"Are you sure this is the right thing to be doing to him? I mean, he is your brother and all...and he was pretty hurt with everything that happened last year." I sighed and grabbed my water. "Puck, you have a sister, right?" He nodded.

"Okay, so you understand what it's like to have a brother/sister bond. When I was younger, my mom always called me Amelia and I didn't like it very much. So, I started going by Amelia Jane. Finn didn't like calling me Amelia Jane or Amelia. So, he started calling me A.J, that's how I got the name. Normally, when he's trying to cheer me up, he calls me Amelia Jane. When Finn calls me Amelia, it means something. It hurts. So, yeah. I get pretty pissed when he calls me that. That's how everything got started. So, maybe I am going a little overboard. But, I need to get back at him for this. Please just let me do things my way."

He nodded. The waitress came back with the check. We split it. It wasn't a real date, so it wouldn't be fair to make one person pay for the food. After we paid, we left and I got onto the back of his motorcycle and he drove me home. I knew exactly what Finn was going to say to me when I got home.

When I got back to my house, I got off the bike and quickly ran inside. Finn was already waiting for me in the living room before I got in. "Alright before you start your whole thing, can I at least get changed?"

"Puck? Really? You know what he did to me, A.J." Finn nearly yelled. "Alright, listen. He asked me out. Besides, I've never had a boyfriend before, so I went out with him. Just get over it Finn." I turned to walk upstairs to my room. "We aren't even gonna talk about this?" I shook my head. "No. We aren't. You know, you wouldn't act this way if it was anybody else."

He nodded. "You're right. I wouldn't do this. He got my ex-girlfriend pregnant! He betrayed me."

"And now your girlfriend is a lesbian and I had a date with the father of her child. Get over it. I'm my own person, Finn. I don't need you to tell me how to live my life, thank you very much."

I turned and walked to my room. I didn't care. It didn't bother me anymore. I was going to keep doing this. No matter what Finn or anyone else thought.
