It was a rough couple of days. Finn had gone into a depressive episode. Scarlett had tried to set him up on a date with Lexie, but it was no use. My brother was broken.

He moped around school all day. I had to miss most of my classes to make sure that he got to his. "Finn, this isn't you.." He didn't even look at me. "Why'd you not go out with Lexie?" He just stood there for a minute.

"What if it happens again?"

"Finn, not every girl is Quinn. I promise you, nobody is ever going to do that to you ever again."

He just stared into the locker. "I have to get to English and then I will see you in glee rehearsal, alright?" He nodded. "Finn, nobody will ever do that again."

I stood there for a moment before I began on my way to English. It didn't even affect me as badly as it did him.

When I had left class, I was practically bombarded by Scarlett and Lexie. "Did you talk to him?"

"About?"

"Why he blew off Lexie."

"He's going through a rough time. He just found out that his best friend and ex broke his trust. Give him time." I said to them, opening my locker. "A.J, you're really the only one he's talking to at this moment." I stopped and just looked at the two of them.

"I am the only one he's talking to because I'm his sister and he trusts me. Give the guy a break. He blew you off because he was at home and he didn't want to go. Lexie, I know you're like his biggest fan, but come on. Just, leave him alone. Please."

I walked ahead of the two of them, just trying to ignore what they were saying. I know that Lexie is in love with him and so is Rachel, but they didn't understand that he was going through a hard time. He just needed to be left alone.

I was walking past Finn standing at his locker when I saw the two people he didn't want to see the most walking towards him.

I walked over and stood in front of them. "What're you doing?" They both looked at me. "We want to talk to Finn." I scoffed. "Well, I'm sorry, visiting time is over. Come back tomorrow...or never. It doesn't bother me."

"Just...let us talk to him."

"Just...walk away. Visiting time is over. Go away."

They both looked at each other and then turned around. I turned and smiled at Finn. He smiled back at me.

I would always be there for him. No matter what happened. He would always be my brother.
