We all sat in the choir room, waiting for Mr. Shue. When he walked in, he looked happier than normal. "Alright, so, for the next few days, there will be an assistant director that is also a special guest." He pointed to the door. And that was when Finn walked in.
"Mr. Shue, can I talk to Finn in private for a moment?" He nodded. "Yeah, we were just about to go to the auditorium. Like we always do. Guys?" He turned and headed out to the auditorium. "Good luck." Sam whispered as he walked out of the room. I smiled sarcastically and turned to Finn.
Once everyone was out of the room, I tapped the chair that sat in front of me. "What're you doing, Finn? Why are you still here?"
"I thought about going to New York, but I couldn't. I can't go back there."
I sighed. "You really love her, don't you?" He nodded. "Alright, well, Finn...she's your soulmate. She's the love of your life. She's the future mother of your children. Sitting here. In a classroom in Lima, Ohio in your old high school. That isn’t gonna get Lexie back. What is gonna get her back is going to New York and owning up to what you did. Yeah, you slept with Scarlett. Running away doesn't change that. What will change that is if you go back and you fix what you broke."
He sighed and looked at me. "Are you sure that'll fix things?" I shook my head. :it's worth a shot though, right?" He nodded. "The plane voucher is on the desk over there and your bags are already in your car. All you have to do is drive to the airport. I'll see you at Christmas."
He just looked at me. "Are you sure? I mean, I just got back..." I sighed. "Go, Finn. Go to New York. I'll be fine. I've been fine. Go." He smiled brightly and stood up.
Next thing I knew, he was running out of the school to try and get the next plane to New York.

[Lexie's Point of View]
After everything that happened, I wasn't mad at Scarlett. She was gay. She had to be drunk to sleep with a guy. Finn on the other hand, well...he was as straight as the day is long.
Scarlett knew I wasn't mad at her. Finn...well...I still didn't know. I mean, I hadn't talked to him since he left. A.J had told me that he called her and that he was back in Lima. She just wasn't sure if he was coming back to New York.
Scarlett was out for the day. Her and Santana were meeting at a bar downtown. I wasn't expecting anyone, so I was pretty surprised when I heard a knock on the door.
"Finn...what-"
"No. Let me talk. I came back here because, one, A.J yelled at me and guilt tripped me back here. And, two, you're the love of my life and I don't know what I'm gonna do without you."
I smiled a little. "How long are you in New York for?" He sighed. "Until I figure out what I'm gonna do. Mr. Shue offered for me to stay there and teach for a while, but I don't think I'm going to."
I smirked and moved out of the way. "Put a sock on the door, will ya?"
He looked at me. "A sock?"
"It's a thing here. Just do it."
He opened the door and put a sock on the handle. And that told Scarlett to not open the door when she came back.
