Chapter 45 ~ Stubbornness Is Nothing Against A Queen In Her Throne.

EK’s POV

“Hello. I’m The Queen.”

Then Spencer starts laughing. Everyone looks at him weirdly, apart from Lawrence; Lawrence doesn’t do anything.

Spencer just keeps laughing uncontrollably. The Queen looks at Kyde confused.

“Was it something I said?” Kyde takes a step forward.

“Do you want me to make him shut up?” I then take a step forward.

“You won’t lay one of your manicured fingers on him Cliff.” He glares at me and I swear I hear Lawrence chuckle lightly whilst The Queen looks me up and down amused.

“My name is Kyde. And I don’t manicure my nails!” I cross my arms and smile smugly.

“Wow, I didn’t actually think you would know what a manicure was.”

“I don’t!” We have a stare-down, I would say it was intense but it was amusing and pathetic more then anything. And short-lived.

“Ladies, let’s not fight now.” The Queen says calmly, whilst Kyde throws his hands up in the air.

“I am in no way feminine! Why!”

“Hush Kydell.” The Queen snappily interrupts him. He looks down at his feet and takes a step back.

“Kydell?” I laugh, “Is that your name?” Kyde looks up and really glares at me.

“You too Emily-Kate.” The Queen says in a firm but polite tone. I do a retake.

“You know my name?”

“I know you all.” The Queen looks behind her and then walks to her desk, takes a seat and gestures for myself and a now recovered Spencer to do the same.

“Lets have a chat.”

 

 

Mika’s POV

What the hell is wrong with me?! Rast? Really? Ugh!!

I’ve just got too much on my mind, now with what just happened between Rast and I. It’s not professional and it shouldn’t have happened. I put my hands in my hair and collapse on my bed.

“I have to tell him”

“Tell who what?” I sit up quickly and see Rast standing in my doorway. All thoughts of confronting him start to melt away when I look at his captivating, green eyes and those lips… I pull myself together and stand up and go to my wardrobe to replace my jacket.
