Mika’s POV

“Let me come.” Spencer asks me. I turn to him surprised.

“No. No way.” I start to walk away but the little bugger follows me.

“Why not? EK’s been on a raid before. I don’t see why I can’t come on this one!”

“Oh stop whinging. You should be grateful we’re being nice to you. And anyway, this isn’t a raid.” I keep walking.

“What is it then?” He asks. I pause and turn down another corridor.

“It’s none of your business.” I say to him over my shoulder.

“Ugh. You’re still as stubborn as you were when I first met you.”  I stop in my tracks and turn to him, confused.

“I wasn’t being stubborn, I attacked you.” He shakes his head.

“No, in Paris. You were in the house, I was trying to wake you up and you told me to go away even though you were half asleep and Juliette…”

“Alright mate! If I let you come, will you stop talking?” I yell at him. His eyes go wide and he puts on a shaky smile.

“It’s okay, I don’t have to go.” He turns around and starts walking away. I sigh.

“Oi!” I yell after him. He turns back around and looks at me surprised.

“We move out in ten. If you’re not prepped and ready to go in the Jeep Bay by the time I’m there, then we’re leaving without you.” He smiles for a second before looking concerned.

“But, I don’t know where anything is.” I chuckle.

“Well you’ve got ten minutes to find out.” He smiles brightly at me before scurrying off to find equipment. I shake my head, and walk away, images of a house, Spencer and a woman with brown hair running through my head.

E’s POV – 2 Hours Later

“WHAT?!” And there goes another vase, crashing to the floor and breaking into a million pieces not even knowing what it did wrong. Poor things.

So I better explain what happened or what is happening more like. Well Lucas is happening basically. It’s been two weeks now since Spence and EK was taken and we’re still searching. Another party just came back and told Lucas that they saw a Robo patrol just miles from here. Now he’s exploding and killing innocent vases. It’d be even worse if they had flowers in them.

“How DARE they come within our territory!” Lucas yells.

“Whoa there mate, you’re making sound like dogs,” I chuckle and he just glares at me. I roll my eyes at him. “Alright, so what are we gonna do about it?” I cross my arms. He turns to the leader of the search party.

“Go and get Christianos. Tell him to meet me at the Green Room.” The guy nods and runs away. Lucas starts walking down the hall. I follow him.

“You didn’t answer my question.” I say, he just keeps walking in front and doesn’t even look back at me as he finally answers me.

“We’re going to meet them.”

The Queen’s POV

She stands on top of a car as she addresses the army below her. “Alright men. These pests are said to be living a few miles from here. Our plan is that we find them and kill as many as we can. Now this is the closest we’ve been to finding where they reside and actually eliminating them,” She looks at her men and smiles maliciously. “Don’t fuck it up.” They start cheering and making as much noise as they can and she laughs with them. I feel somebody come up next to me.

“She’s changed.” Adrastos says sadly.

“People change Adrastos. Sometimes it can be for the best.” I clasp my hands together.

“But not for her. She wasn’t supposed to become like this.” He says sadly.

“I understand your pain Adrastos, the circumstances in which she seemed to change were not ideal and I feel very responsible for what happened that day but I feel she won’t stay like this forever, that soon she’ll see something and we’ll be reunited with the girl we know.”

“It’s still not right. I don’t like it.” He replies. She looks up at us and I give her a smile whilst Adrastos goes blank-faced. She nods at us before jumping down from the car and mingling with the troops, giving orders. I turn to Adrastos after I see her occupied. Adrastos looks at me, such sadness in his eyes.

“You love her don’t you?” I ask softly. He lowers his head.

“More then anything Your Majesty.” I gently take a hold of his chin and lift his face up to mine.

“Then don’t give up on her.” He nods sadly and walks away. I turn back around and spot her watching Adrastos walk away. I can’t tell the emotion in her eyes but it’s not as strong as it should be.

E’s POV

“Lucas man! Wait up!” I run over to him as he walks out of the Green Room and he stops walking.

“I hope you’ve got good news E.”

“We’ve had a sighting.” He turns to me.

“Of what?” He demands.

“A shoe.” Lucas raises an eyebrow.

“This isn’t time for jokes E.” I shake my head.

“Sorry. There has been a sighting though. A group of two Robo and three Loyalists about two streets down.” He shakes his head.

“They’re getting too close,” He looks at me. “Tell the teams to go to the garage and be ready to move out.” I nod and walk away to fulfil my duty of messenger.
