When I ran through those doors, I saw Juliette; she was being held at gunpoint by a hooded figure. I slowly pull out my gun and point it at the person holding Juliette.

“Let her go, or I’ll shoot.” I say calmly. But the hooded person doesn’t move, but slowly a shadow from behind Juliette and her captor comes forth. I quickly turn my focus and my gun towards them.

“DON’T MOVE!” I yell at them, they begin to reach down.

“PUT YOUR HANDS UP!” I’m completely focused on the one in the shadows, that I forget about Juliette and the other one, until:

“MIKA, LOOK OUT!” I hear Juliette yell, I spin around to find the one holding her pulling out a gun and aiming at me, in one second I’ve shot them and they’re falling on the floor. That’s when all the others come out. I don’t think. I just shoot.

Spencer’s POV

Gun shot, what the heck?

“JULIETTE!” My head turns sharply, was that Mika? It was! I run as fast as I can towards them, dropping cans of tomatoes and baked beans.

“Mika!” I see her run in the warehouse. Damn! I keep on running and when I get to the door of the warehouse I suddenly freeze. The guns and fighting has suddenly turned to silence. What if they’re both dead? How could I manage without them? Please don’t be dead. Please.

Then a gun goes off again. Crap! I burst in the doors and what I see in front of me is like something from my worse nightmares.

Mika’s POV

They were Robo’s, every single one of them. And I killed them all. Spencer’s at the door, staring with horror and Juliette’s on the floor unconscious. I killed them all. I. Killed. Them. All.

Oh well, they were Robo.

“That’s not the point Mika.” Spencer says, I must’ve said that aloud.

“Killing someone is wrong, no matter what they look like.” He continues in a scared but strong voice.

“They weren’t human, Spencer.” I say as I walk to the door, tucking my gun back into my jeans. Spencer goes to help Juliette as I walk out the door.

“Where were you?” Spencer asks quietly from the big chair in the living room.

“Out.” I answer as I go to the kitchen to put away what rations I collected on my walk.

“Juliette’s gonna be ok, she’s just in shock.” Spencer adds, getting up to help me.

“That’s good.” I say distractedly, grabbing cans to put in the cupboard. Spencer’s beside me, we put cans and packets of food until they’re all away and we’re just standing there awkwardly, well Spencer is anyhow. I walk away and go upstairs to my room.

“Mika?” I hear someone whisper as I walk down the hall. I look to the sound and find that it came from Juliette’s room. I open the door slightly and find Juliette lying in her bed. I walk in and sit in a chair next to her.

“Yeah?” I ask softly.

“He’s not angry or upset at you, he’s just scared.”

“What of?” I ask her, she closes her eyes and sighs.

“You’ll find out soon enough, but that’s not what I wanted to tell you.”

“What then?”

“You were awesome when killing all those Robo.” She says with a faint smile on her face.

“Thanks.” I give back the faint smile.

“I might grow to like you.” Juliette opens her eyes to look at me, a bigger smile on her face.  Then she closes her eyes again and I decide to leave her in peace.
