They arrived on the scene.
"Help!" A young woman screamed from the fourth floor.
Steve and Bucky ran in.
"Guys!" Nat called after them.
She threw her hands up in the air.
"Men!"
The others ran in after them.
They'd cleared the building when it started to crumble. Steve put his arms up. He was hold up the walls to keep them from crushing his team.
"Run!" He yelled.
"Steve?" Bucky asked
"Go. I'm right behind you." He assured
Bucky nodded. Steve pushed the walls up and ran. Something sticky, a web pulled him towards the entrance.
Steve was gasping for air by time he reached the outside.
"Cap?" Peter asked. "Are you okay?"
"Still have asthma." He laughed while looking at Bucky.
Bucky shook his head. He was still angry and trying not to laugh.
When they got back Emily was sitting in front of the tv, watching the news. She turned her head when she heard the door.
"Everyone safe?" She asked
"Except for Steve trying to hold up a building." Bucky grumbled
Emily nodded. That was a very steve thing to do. Steve walked past her. She noticed his uniform. Her eyes immediately went to his arms, tracing his muscles.
He noticed.
"Different uniform same problem?" He teased in a weak attempt to make her smile
She suppressed a laugh.
"You wish."
She stood.
"Do I wanna know?" Bucky asked
"Inside joke. No. No you don't want to know."
Steve returned his attention to Emily.
"I think I spot a liar."
She turned to him.
"Steve Rogers, keep on and you'll learn Peggy Carter isn't the only woman willing to shoot you."
She stormed off.
His eyes widened.
"Peggy did what?" Tony asked
