Emily laid curled up on the couch in the common area of the compound. Steve sat next to her playing with her hair.
"Steve!" Tony said "we got 'em."
Steve's head shot up. He smiled. Kissing the top of her head, he stood and walked towards the conference room.
"What's going on?" Emily asked
River's head popped up from the floor.
"Yeah." She agreed.
Steve sighed.
"There's a hydra cell in San Francisco." He said "We're going to deal with it."
"I want to go." Emily said
"No." Steve said
"So do I." River stated.
"Absolutely not!" Bucky and Tony yelled
They made it clear the girls were staying put. They pouted.

Tony leaned against the wall, watching everyone else prepare. Bucky and Loki stood on either side of him.
"You should leave." Tony said to Loki.
"I'm not going anywhere." Loki said stubbornly.
Steve grabbed his shield and walked towards the plane. He stopped to kiss Emily.
"We'll be back before you know it." He promised
She nodded
"James." She said
Her brother looked at her.
"Keep him from being himself, alright?"
Bucky laughed.
"I can do that." He promised, kissing the top of River's head.
He leaned down.
"The box on top of my dresser." He whispered in River's ear "There's something for you."
She nodded, confused.
They continued walking. Steve gave Bucky a knowing look
"You've never been good with words." Steve laughed.
Bucky rolled his eyes.
"Shut up punk."
