Aftermath

Tony comes limping back in the base to find a nurse wrapping Steve's head. When Tony saw him he quickly hurried over to his side, "blue eyes. Is everything alright?" Steve nodded his head, "have you seen chloe?" Tony shook his head as the nurse left.

They leave and search the city to find Chloe propped up against the tree. She is badly hurt and bleeding out. Steve brant down next to his daughter then said, "you promised me little girl. You promised."

"Sorry papa," she smiled as the blood started to drop from her mouth, "looks like I'll be watching out for you two from now on. I'll get to see," Chloe started to cough up blood, "looks like I'll get to see grandpa. Anything you want me to say to him dad," Chloe continued to cough. Tears fell from to Tony's eyes, "tell him I love him. Mom too." Chloe nodded her head then looked back at Steve, "papa. I'm sorry." Steve squeezed Chloe's hand, "don't be. You helped save all these people." Tears fell from Chloe's eyes, "sing me a song?" Steve nodded his head, "how about your favorite?" Chloe nodded her head then Steve started to sing, "come stop your crying, it will be alright. just take my hand, and hold it tight, I will protect you from all around you, I will be here don't you cry," Steve squeezed his daughters hand a little more, "For one so small, You seem so strong. My arms will hold you, Keep you safe and warm. This bond between us, Can't be broken. I will be here," Steve saw the light slip from Chloe's eyes then said, "Don't, you, cry," before grabbing onto tony to hold him as he cried.

Tony wrapped his arms around his little girl then sat there and continued to cry once Steve let go of him. After a few minutes Tony got up and started to accuse Dr. Hank Pym for being the reason there daughter was dead. Tony then took of in his armor and headed back to the base without Steve.

Steve radios in, "anyone there?"

A female voice responds, "yes captain. What can I help you with?"

"Tonys mad. Make sure he doesn't get anywhere near Hank till I get back."

The female voice said, "yes captain. Will there be anything else?"

Steve said, "prepare a casket. I'm bring home a body."

"Yes sir. Right away. Will have it waiting for you when you get back."

"Thank you, Natasha."

"You're welcome Steve."

---BACK AT BASE---

Steve placed Chloe's lifeless body in the casket then turned to see tony being held by thor and the hulk, with clint pointing an arrow at him.

Tony was yelling out, "do you know who I am!? Let me go!"

Clint said, "sorry tony, captains orders."

Steve looked around the room then yelled out,"I'm in charge now. If none of you like that," Steve turned and pointed at the door while he continued to yell, "there's the door!" Steve turned back to the crowd, "any takers? Anyone, no? Good," Steve then looked at Natasha, "get in contact with shield. Try and find my dad and brother while your at it," he looked at falcon, "falcon, find any survivors. Make sure they get to the safety bases that are out there. take Hawkeye with you and anyone else you want." Steve looked at thor and hulk, "you two make sure there are no more drones out there... and if there are, turn them to ash. Protection is our first priority," Steve yelled out, "are there any questions."

A young girl walked forward, "and what are you going to do?"

"What is your name?" Asked Steve.

The young girl said, "my name is Raleigh Buchanan."

"Well," Steve looked down for a moment then back at Raleigh, "ms. Buchanan, I'm going to go burry my daughter," Steve looked at tony, "you can come with or I can through you in lock up." tony said, "come with."

Raleigh said, "with permission Captain Rogers, I would like to come with."

Steve nodded his head then said, "dismissed," before leaving to get pepper.
