Thirty five : Blur

Happy birthday to you~

Everyone sang, clapping and cheering loudly when the little boy blew the five lit candles fixed on the large beautiful chocolate cake.

Taehyung beamed as he held jungmin's little hand, helping him to cut the cake and feeding a small piece to the boy who giggled and carefully took another cake piece, held it out towards his mama's mouth to take a bite.

"Happy birthday pretty" Taehyung whispered, kissing his temple and taking a small bite of the cake.

Jungkook was grinning and clapping his hands endearingly, his fond eyes fixed on the little boy.

Jimin and jin helped taehyung to serve the cake to each guest while all the kids including nivi, jungmin and his friends rushed to take their toffees and cake, their sweet giggles and laughs echoing the hall.

Enjoyment was aloft in air, a cheerful ambience created in the house which was beautifully decorated with ballons and ribbons, just the exact decor to be maintained in a birthday party.

Jungmin was now engaged with namjoon and bogum who were giving him their gift, making the boy squeal in delight.

Jungkook stood afar, hesitantly holding on his gift. He could see jungmin grinning widely upon seeing the racing car as the gift from bogum.

He licks his lips and steps back, deciding to present his gift later as he's too nervous that jungmin wouldn't like it among the expensive ones.

Jungkook turns around and flinches a bit upon seeing taehyung standing with arms crossed on his chest and staring at him suspiciously.

"Are you going to keep it with you or planning to give it to him any soon?" Taehyung asks, eyeing at the small beautifully wrapped gift of jungkook which was hidden behind his back.

"Yes...but he's a bit occupied right now" Jungkook stutters and decides to change the topic, "How's your leg?"

"You know it's better...that's why i'm walking properly and gracefully" Taehyung says in a taunt, making jungkook to laugh.

Taehyung presses his lips together, smiling softly and steps closer to him, "whatever you gift him kookie, he's gonna love it the most."

Jungkook nods faintly, not really convinced. He's not anymore surprised on how taehyung reads his mind so precisely, he just got used to it.

"Among all these expensive gifts...he's gonna love only yours. And you know why?" Taehyung pauses.

Jungkook looks at him with a slight frown of curiosity, as if asking him to continue.

Taehyung chuckles, "Because it's his bunny uncle's gift that he's receiving for the first time."

A small instant smile takes over jungkook's lips, he looks down at his gift and tightens the hold on it.

"Trust me, he was too excited for your gift." Taehyung mumbles, gently holding the hands of jungkook.

Jungkook gazes at him, relief swept over his face as taehyung mumbles, "Go"

With a deep breath, jungkook turns around and heads towards the boy who's inspecting the racing car in amusement. A pout was formed on his lips as he's a little bit confused with it's remote control.

"Hey lil one" Jungkook whispers as he kneels down to jungmin's level. Jungmin looks up at him with his big duo eyes, his pouty lips now smiling widely for his bunny uncle.

"Bunny uncle look, a car" Jungmin happily shows him his new gift.

"Yes pretty, isn't it?" Jungkook chuckles.
