I got this idea when I was annotating something for school. This probably won't have a lot of context, but it's fine.

Author's pov
You and Ray were in the library studying for tomorrow's science test. You were busy making flashcards as he highlighted his notes. Ray's bag of chocolates stood next to him. You two have been studying for thirty minutes in silence until you said,
"Hey Ray?" you said, alerting the boy's attention.
"Hm?" he hummed in response. You looked at your flashcards slightly shuffling them before answering.
"Can you give me a kiss?" you asked nonchalantly. You stared at him, waiting for his answer.
"What?" he said, puzzled. You were confused about why his cheeks were glowing red when you simply asked him for a kiss.
"A kiss, Ray," you said enunciating your words. You sat there waiting for his reaction.
"And why would you want that?" he said breaking eye contact with you. You shrugged. You heard him murmur, "We're not even dating." but you felt like you didn't hear correctly.
"You know what, fine. No one's hear and I pity you sometimes," he muttered. At this point, you were REALLY confused. Pitying you, where did that come from?! you thought.
You narrowed your eyes in annoyance. All you asked for was a kiss, and he in returned passive agressively explained that he pitied you. You went back to studying and chose to leave the conversation there.
However, you were too focused on your flashcards that you didn't notice Ray lean in from your left and softly kiss your lips. You instantly turned around in surprise.
"Ray what the hell was that for?!" you whisper-screamed. You blushed in embarassment while he looked at you in shock.
"You asked for a kiss, right? So I gave one to you!" he exclaimed back.
When he said that, you immediately regretted asking in the first place. Well this is awkward, you thought.
"I meant a Hershey's Kiss, Ray," you responded. "Remember? The ones you bought during lunch?"
"Oh." Ray answered.

This was really bad and not my greatest work at all. Sorry if this lowkey sucked but I just wanted to get this idea out the way. Tomorrow's update will be better I hope.
