CHAPTER FIFTY-TWO

NARRATOR'S POV

After the Seminfinal match between Celesticville and Gaeusville, which resulted with a hard-earned win for the squad of Celesticville, it was the turn of Pacificsville to duel with Abyssville.

Being an elite men's team in the UCAAP, Pacificsville basically went past their hapless opponents with little challenge. After a meager 52 minutes, Pacificsville swept Abyssville in straight sets 25-9, 25-7, and 25-9.

​"Goodness gracious, it was a massacre of all sorts," umiiling na komento ni Xavier sa laban.

​"Tama na 'yan," saway ni Cilan sa mga kasama. "Start na ng warm-ups. Proceed na tayo sa court."

​Nagsitayuan na ang players ng Celesticville to move to the court. Karamihan sa kanila ay nakaramdam ng intimidation upon seeing how fit and knowing how powerful their opponents are.

​The spiking drills were especially scary to look at. Nagkatinginan sina Timothy at Cilan.

​"Parang hindi na ako makakatayo pagkatapos ng game na 'to," mahinang hayag ni Timmy.

​The referee whistled, signaling the end of the alloted practice time and the start of the match.

​"And for our very much anticipated Finale for the Day 9 Activity, it's the heavyweights of volleyball Pacificsville against the heartthrobs of Celesticville! Pacificsville has been waxing hot from the get-go and has never lost a set on their two previous games, while Celesticville had to weather a five-set thriller to squeeze their way to our Finals. Who among these two talented squads will emerge the victor?"

Dumadagundong ang sigawan at hiyawan sa loob ng Arena. Todo-suporta pa rin kahit ang wielders ng mga na-eliminate na mga schools. Siyempre pa, pang-malakasan din ang cheer ng Celesticville bench.

"Let us now meet the starters of both teams! First up is Pacificsville University! 1st Open Spiker #01 Yezzer, 2nd Open Spiker #07 Howard, 1st Middle Blocker #04 Filmon, 2nd Middle Blocker #05 Leon, Opposite Spiker #02 Geyser, Setter #03 Denver, and their Libero, #06 Calix!"

"At ang kanilang makakaharap, ang starters ng Celesticville! 1st Open Spiker #01 Sloane, 2nd Open Spiker #02 Cilan, 1st Middle Blocker Xavier, 2nd Middle Blocker Jacob, Opposite Spiker # 06 Kristoff, and Setter # Winter. Their Libero is #05 Timothy. Let's give it up for both of these skillful squads!"

Pumasok na ang mga starters ng magkabilang koponan. Kampante at nakangiti ang mga players ng Pacificsville, habang seryoso at mukhang medyo kabado ang starters ng Celesticville. Well, except...
