NARRATOR'S POV

Pumwesto sa magkakahiwalay na bahagi ng Arena ang mga kalahok ng Boreausville, Heliosville, at Celesticville. All the participants looked determined and focused as they size up the competition, trying to intimidate whoever is on the opposite side of the court.

"Ang huling laban ng 201x Philippine Dark Intramurals ay magsisimula na sa ilang saglit. People inside the Tutankhamun Arena, cheer your hearts out for your squad! Sino ang gusto niyong manalo?"

Hindi magkamayaw ang mga tao sa loob ng Arena sa pagsigaw sa pangalan ng schools na kanilang sinusuportahan. Kahit ang delegates at supporters ng tatlong eliminated universities ay todo-bigay din sa pag-cheer para sa mga maglalabang pangkat, o sa indibidwal na wielder na kanilang gustong manalo.

"Boreausville, Heliosville, Celesticville... the time to claim the greatest glory has come. Mga kaibigan, ang laban para sa kampyeonato ng 201x Philippine Dark Intramurals... ay opisyal nang nagsimula!"

The sound within the Arena was thunderous, but the contenders did not make much noise.

"Ayaw niyo bang magkusa na lang? Mas maaga kayong susuko, mas hindi kayo masasaktan," panimulang pang-aasar ni Solace.

"Mas maaga kang titigil sa pagsasalita, mas mainam. Sa baho ng hininga mo e talong-talo na kaming lahat," ganting banat ni Tyler na ikinatawa ng lahat.

Napaungol sa inis si Solace. "I hope sapat ang skills mo para bumack-up sa yabang mo, bata. Syneffo Magic: Nimbus Electrocution!"

Tyrone suddenly stepped in to defend his brother. "I hope you considered my presence as well before deciding to attack my brother. Clavis Magic: Millennium Portal!"

The Space Magician summoned his signature dimensional portal, which engulfed the lightning-charged clouds casted by Solace. Pagkalipas ng ilang segundo, lumitaw ang portal sa ibabaw ng Cloud Magician, saka ito tinamaan ng sariling atake.

"Solace!" tawag ni Serena sa kakampi, bago nito inalalayang makatayo ulit ang lalaki.

Napaismid si Isaiah. "It's pointless. Kahit ano pa ang gawin ninyo, you'll be no match against us as long as Celestine is on our side."

"Wait. Are you trying to say that you're nothing without Celestine?" hamon ni Winter, his left eyebrow raised a little and his mouth forming a sly grin.

"That actually makes sense," dagdag na tudyo ni Xavier. "They're just a bunch of losers without their goddess, the Luminux Magician."

"Talaga lang, ha? Bakit 'di mo sabihin 'yan sa harapan ko, ha?" nagngangalit na hamon ni Ulysses.

Stanley flashed a skeptic expression. "Does that mean that you can fight us without Celestine? I doubt you'll ever have the balls to do that."

"Deal. I'm accepting your challenge," nakangiting wika ni Celestine, causing everyone's attention to be shifted towards her.

"Teka, Celestine. Anong ibig mong sabihin?" nagtatakang tanong ni Serena sa pinakamalakas nilang kakampi.

"Simple. I am allowing you to fight our nemeses from Heliosville and Celesticville without my intervention," casual na sagot ng dalaga, bago ito bumaling sa mga taga-Boreausville. "You want to prove to them na hindi lang kayo accessories sa team natin, tama ba ako? Now's your chance to do it. Ipakita ninyo na may silbi kayo sa Team Boreausville. Do not dare disappoint me, got it?"

Napaungol sa inis si Isaiah. "When will she stop treating us like minions instead of comrades? That wr**ch!"

"Hayaan na natin ang babaeng 'yan sa trip niya," sansala ni Solace sa mga kasamahan. "Serena and Ulysses, you take care of the Celesticville squad. Kami ni Isaiah ang bahala sa mga taga-Heliosville."
