Aria Lane is your typical shy girl next door; she always completes her homework on time and almost never receives a F on her report card.
But what she considers to be a F in her life is her type 1 diabetes.
Even though she has been diagnosed with it, she still struggles to keep it under control.
What she doesn't have control over is her older sister Hailey, who one night asks Aria to drive her to a party and pick her up later; Aria has no idea that she will run into Dylan, the most popular guy at school, who may or may not have his eye on her.
