"Its good to have to back, Mia Stella" a familiar voice spoke against my forehead and then I heard footsteps. I open my eyes slightly to look at the retreating figure. It was someone she least expected it to be.

GIOVANNI.

ARTEMIS'S POV

Its been a week since I moved to New York. If you ask me, how has it been? We'll, sometimes, it goes as slow as a snail, and sometimes as fast as Flash. Demitri and Dad are usually out for businesses.

Ace and I have bonded pretty good. The other day he took me to an Italian restaurant to taste and rate food.

Armani stared bonding with me when he discovered that I loved working on computers. Apparently, he is the techie of the house.

Me and Valentino have been pranking our siblings. Our common target- Ace and Armani. Sometimes, we prank of the house maids. The other day, we put hair removal cream in Ace's shampoo.... He thought he was going through early balding.

"Artemis!" I hear somone shout. I look up to see Demitri.

"Yeah?" I ask.

"I've been trying to get your attention for the past 5 minutes. " He spoke, annoyance laced in his voice. "Come on now, everyone's inside already" he says sighing. We then walk into the house, which is basically Demitri walking and me jogging to keep up his pace. God! How long are his legs!! Jogging reminded me of workout.

"Demi," I call him. He freezes at his place and turns around.

"you called me Demi?" He asks in Low tone. I nod, gulping the lump in my throat.

"You used to call me Demi when you were small" he spoke. His eyes getting softer each second. He then did something I didn't expect.

He hugged me. The Demitri Russo hugged me. I see a wide smile play on his lips while looking down at me. He put his arm around my shoulder and we walk into the house in the same manner.

We settle on the sofa, where my other brothers except Giovanni were sitting. Dad walked out of the north wing and headed towards us.

"So, is my Bambina all ready for school?" My dad asks with a smile.

"Yes" I replied not to be rude. I guess I forgot the mention that I'll be joining Armani and Val's school next Monday, which is in four days. They both will be my seniors by a year. So I guess, we might have one or two classes together.

"Artemis." Dad started. "I guess it's time we talk about some ground rules." Dad spoke.

"I'm listening" I reply.

"First, as you know. Don't walk into the north wing. Then, so can have friends who are boys, but no boyfriends until 18. Third, I know you have good grades and I hope you will keep it up. Curfew on weekdays is 10:30 and 1:30 on weekends" dad stoped.

"I'm alright with all those. Is that all?" I ask.

"For now, yes" dad replied with a smile.

I then left to the garden for some fresh air.

My relaxation was disturbed with a phone call.

"Yes?" I asked.

"....."

"Okay, then?"

"......"

"I know you can handle it. You are my partner. Aren't your signatures enough?"

"....."

"Tell them I'm busy and not reachable at the moment. If they are willing to wait, they will. I'll find some way to meet you" I reply.
