THIRD PERSON'S POV.

Artemis took off her helmet after she parked her motorcycle at her destination. It was a little past evening and the mall was staring to fill. Making her way into the mall, she took the escalator to the third floor and stood infront of the place that would lead her to the next clue.

"I'm really gonna have to give this kidnapper lessons on creating riddles once I find him or her, like seriously!" Artemis spoke to herself as she stood in front of the store that had a big 'V' & 'S'  written on it.

Victoria's Secret.

Yes! The same Victoria's Secret Store.

She shifted her eyesight to the two stores on either sides of it.

"To the place besides where the mighty queen keeps her secret"

Both the stores were under construction. Looking around discretely, Artemis slipped into one of the store.

"Okay, this was fun, but now it's getting annoying. I actually forgot that I'm here to rescue Gio and not on a scavenger hunt. This kidnapper better be a psychopath, or imma make him one." She spoke to herself as she looked around for anything and everything.

After searching around, and finding nothing, Artemis knew she had to use her skills. She started by touching the walls with her palms and finding any clue. As she finish the second wall, she noticed a chip of paint falling off. Taking a guess, she took a screwdriver kept nearby and started taking off the paint. Soon enough, she found a piece of paper stuck on the wall, which had yet another riddle.

"Look over the present and the gone from high above, the greens here give red. The endpoint of life is here and so are your answers."

The girl groaned yet again. But nevertheless started thinking what this riddle meant.

"Look over the present and the gone from high above..." She repeated the sentences. "Look over the gone? Gone in the sense, the dead? If that means dead then, Present means the living?" She tried guessing, but went for the next line. "The greens here give red." She repeated the next line. "Greens give red?" She scrunched up her nose and titled her head in confusion. "The endpoint of life is here, so are your answers" she re read the last line. "Endpoint of life is where I will get my answers? Endpoint of life..... is..... Death, death..... What about it?" She spoke to herself.

Think Arte think!

"Somewhere high, greens give red and Endpoint of life. Death.... Death... Death..." She kept chanting the last word while thinking about how it was related. "Does death mean..... A graveyard?" She asked herself. "Endpoint of life is here, which means death is there.... Yes! A grave yard... Okay, next," she read the lines again. "Look over the present and the gone from high above, the greens here give red." She repeated the first two lines.

Look over = somewhere high, like a mountain or hill.

Present = the living

Gone = dead.

Endpoint of life = graveyard.

"But there are so many graveyards in New York!!" Artemis groaned.

She felt a whole lot of emotions at the moment. She was frustrated, annoyed, sad, angry that her brother wasn't here and she wasn't able to find him. But a part of her was loving this quest. It was something she loved; to find answers, have someone challenge her, discover the unseen, find things out of the ordinary.

"Hell yeah!" She shouted as she remembered something. "The greens here give red..... It all makes sense now!" She internally squealed. "The graveyard behind the apple tree hill! It also gives an overview of the city!!" She exclaimed as she made her way out. She tried calling her family for the first time in the day.
