A week later.

DEMITRI'S POV.

It's been a busy day, well, it's been a busy week. I haven't been able to take out time for Artemis. Ace and Giovanni are helping me along with dad, but it's still tiring sometimes. And right now, I just finished my third meeting and it's only 10 in the morning right now.

"Where is Fiore?" I ask as I sit down in one of the sofa's with the family. Today is Saturday so everyone's home.

"I thought she was with you the whole morning!" Ace spoke.

"I thought she was with Giovanni" Valentino spoke.

They started blaming each other. I looked at dad and he looked at me. We both stood up and ran upstairs. We burst open through her door and find no one. I go through the closet, while dad checked the bathroom.

"She isn't here!" Dad exclaimed.

"Some of her clothes are missing" I replied.

Did she leave us? What's going on?

"How was she able to get through such a tight security?" Dad questioned the head guard.

"Have you contacted Gianni?" Ace asked and I nodded.

"He's on the way" I replied.

It's been 2 hours since We found out Artemis ran away. We've been constantly trying to find her. We can't track her phone, since she didn't take it.

"We know where she is!" We here a voice boom into the living room and we all snap our heads towards the entrance of the living room.

"How do you know, and where is she?" Dad shouted.

"She does this every year on this date" the boy replied.

"What do you mean, every year on this date, Kade?" I asked him.

Yes, it was Kade and Bexley.

"Today is the date... Mrs. Russo died.." Bexley announced, making the tension filled room go quiet. There was pin drop silence. Dad sunk in his chair. He spoke after a while.

"Where is she?" Dad sighs and asks in a low, defeated voice.

"California city, Green locks cemetery." Kade replied.

"She might be buying poppies from the flower shop down the lane and driving to the cemetery." Bexley added.

"Get ready! We are flying to California" dad announced.

3:00 pm, California.

We land in California after a 5 hour journey.  The memories of the day we took Artemis from here play infront of my eyes.

I see a sleek Range Rover stand outside as we desend the jet. We file into the car and Kade gives us instructions.

"How do you know about this place?" Giovanni asked him.

"Bexley brought me hear twice when Artemis ran away from the hostel, on this same day." Kade replied.

"The first time she did it when she was with us, it took us a day to find her. She actually returned home. Only then we came to know that she does it every year." Bexley added.
