GIOVANNI'S POV.

I was having difficulty in sleeping since the past 2 days. With Stella coming back, I was more than happy, but it doesn't mean that there won't be any threats to us now. If anyone comes to know about Artemis, they'll surely come for her. Plus, she doesn't know about us being the Italian Mafia.

I was pulled out of my thoughts when I felt some noises outside my room. I walk out to see my dear Sorella standing outside her room in deep thoughts.

She takes sleeping pills? But why? Does something haunt her? Has something bad happened to her?

My breath hitched as she nuzzled deeper into my chest and started crying. What happened to you My joyful Stella, what happened back then that you have nightmares. I crease her hair and whisper sweet things into her ears till her breathing normalised, and soon she zoned out. I wrap my hands around her tiny body and in no time I was consumed by sleep.

She knows Spanish? Our mother did a good job, at least for her.

I see her walk out of my room. I then walk into my bathroom to take a quick shower.

ARTEMIS'S POV.

I then change into something comfy; ripped jeans, sport bra with an oversized shirt, which I stole away from Valentino. I pair them with these white Sneekers that Armani brought me the other day.

I then walked out of my room to the kitchen to make a cup of coffee. I look up to see My father and all my brothers, except Armani and Val on the island.

"Good morning" I chirp and then walk towards the coffee machine.

"Did you sleep well, Princess?" My father asked as I take a sast on the island, this time between Giovanni.

"Yes, I slept well Pop's" I say sipping my coffee. I then look up to see him and Demitri frozen. Like literally frozen

I lean into Giovanni and then speak. "Have they always been like this or should I change my name into the ice princess. I've been freezing someone or the other ever since I've come back"

Giovanni looks at me for sometime and then starts laughing, nodding his head sideways simultaneously. The next thing I know, I'm laughing with him too.

After 10 minutes of a laughing fit, Giovanni and I calm ourselves and return to eat. We look up to see that now, not only dad and Demitri but Ace also frozen. I look at Giovanni with a Raised eyebrow.

"I haven't laughed so hard ever since I was 5" he whispered and I felt a tinge of sadness. we continued eating.

The rest of the day went lazying around. At lunch, it was just me and Gio, since Ace, Demitri and Dad had to attend a meeting or something.

I thought about face timing Bex and Kade. But, both of them are busy with family. The maids made Risotto which reminded me so much of mom.

"Missy! Look I made your favourite Risotto today" mom spoke from outside my bedroom door.

My and mom had a fight and now she is making up to me. She knows so well where she should hit me to get my apology. I hear my stomach grumble at the sound of Risotto.

"Couldn't you keep it low?" I whispered to my stomach.

"I can hear your stomach missy, don't make it angry! Come on, I'm sorry. Please come out" mom spoke the last sentence in a low voice. Soon the door opened and I stood there. I was engulfed into a bear hug by my mom.
