ARTEMIS'S POV.

It's been a few days since the Galanis incident. Lucky for me, Andrei didn't show up to school until today. But now he is sitting beside me at the moment. May I also add trying to get my attention.

"Psst.." I hear him again as I try to concentrate on what my physics teacher was talking about.

"Psst...."

"Psst....." This time he started poking his pencil into my arm.

"What is it Galanis?" I ask, my frustration on full display.

"Wanna hangout after school?" He asked.

"Yeah"

"Really?" He asked excitedly.

"No" I reply.

I see a hurtful emotion pass through his eyes before he covered it up.

"But why?" He whined.

He couldn't get any other girl to annoy?

"Because I said so" I said rolling my eyes. I hear him mutter something about 'not having friends'

I mean, I should stay away from him but he feels kind of harmless. I know! I know! My brothers are gonna freak out if a go out with him.

"Fine." I reply a little later.

A smile appeared across his face.

"But.. I bringing someone with me!" I add. His smile dropped but he managed a faint smile.

"No probs. Boy or girl?" He asked.

"Boy" I replied.

"One of your brothers?" He asked sounding low.

"Yeah." I reply.

"Can we exchange numbers? So that we can keep in contact?" I asked hopefully.

"Yes. Here let me enter it for you." I say extending my hand out for his phone. He quickly hands it over to me.

"Here" I say handing it back to him.

You might be thinking that I just handed over my phone number to a possible enemy.

I ain't such a fool. That's Kade's number..

He he he...

I feel so sorry for him right now. He is so happy having my number.

I quickly text Kade telling him that he might receive any message from a new number and not to reply or even see it.

"I texted you" I looked up as he spoke.

"Umm.. my phone dead. My chargers in the car. I'll see your message later." I reply. He just smiles at me.

He doesn't even look like The Greek Cartel's son. He's acting so different from the other day..

With that, the bell rang and I bursted out of the class, messaging Kade to meet me near the lockers.

He was already there when I reached. He actioned a 'what's going on' with his hands as I walked to him.
