Matapos ang eksena sa airport kanina, napagdesisyunan kong humiwalay na muna sakanila at umuwi. Bigla kasing sumama ang pakiramdam ko at sumakit ulit ang ulo ko.

Lately napapansin kong napapadalas ang pananakit ng ulo ko. At first I thought it was because of the stress and overworked. Maybe kapag lumuwag ang sched ko, I might visit some of my professors na Neuro.

Mom was surprised when she saw me. Sobrang tuwa nila. Well, mom was the only one who was there when I came. Ruth was in school that time meanwhile Kuya Lyle ay nakadestino na sa Cebu since he got a good job there.

Mom looks good. She still looks very young. “H-Hazel! Bakit hindi mo naman sinabi saakin na uuwi ka? What happened? Why are you here? May nangyari ba?”

Like what I expected, mom bombarded me a lots of questions. Hindi ko nga alam kung dapat ko pa bang sagutin 'yon—pero expected ko naman na eh.

“Mom, i'm okay! I just want to be with you guys. I realized that It's better when you guys are just around. Medyo nahohomesick din kasi ako eh.” I answered.

Mom gave me a doubt look. “You sure you are okay?”

I nodded, “Yup ma, no worries. I'm okay and fine.”

Mom released a heavy sigh. “If you say so, but I won't pretend that Edna didn't tell me anything. Will keep my eyes on you, Hazel. I know there's something going on.”

Auntie Edna talaga oh. Since mom didn't expect me to be here, nagmadali siyang namalengke at naghanda for me. I offered to help but she rejected me. So nanahimik nalang ako sa gilid.

Habang tumatakbo ang oras, panay ako tingin sa social media at orasan ko—nagbabakasakali na tawagan ako ni Sejun at kamustahin. But hours passed, ni simple 'hi' hindi ko manlang natanggap sakaniya. Maybe he's enjoying Reese presence. Well, it's his girlfriend and I—I'm just his... his personal nurse.

Day almost passed at wala akong nareceive na message from him kaya medyo nag-alala na din ako. I tried to contact on of the staff at doon ko lang nalaman na nagpapahinga daw si Sejun sakanila.

“Pero bakit po wala ako doon? Personal nurse niya po ako and I should be there beside him."

"You don't have to worry about, Hazel. He's with Reese right now. Some staffs are there as well. If you're concern ay walang nurse doon na magbabantay para sakaniya ay meron. Reese brought some nurses to take care of Sejun. So relax ka muna today, we knew that you've been a lot these past few days." staff said.

Hindi ko magawang malungkot sa mga nalaman ko. So ano palang use ko ngayon? Baggage lang niya? Bitbit lang niya pauwi? Isang buwan nga lang kontrata ko para alagaan siya tas mababawasan pa ng araw.

"Sige po..."

“Don't worry. We'll call you early in the morning para ikaw na ang mag-alaga sakaniya. After all that's your purpose why you're here, right?”

Masakit sa loob marinig na 'After all that's your purpose why you're here'. Ngayon ramdam na ramdam ko na yung gap naming dalawa.

Kinabukasan ay maaga akong tinawagan ng staff at tinupad nga nila yung sinabi nila. Maaga akong nagising at naghanda na, nilutuan ko si Sejun ng aroscaldo at iba pang pagkain na madadala ko for his breakfast.
