After Two years...

Dalawang na pala ang nakakalipas. 6 months ang internship ko dito sa California and nakakuha ako ng magandang opportunities dito. Well, I have to say this but California has a lot to offer more than the Philippines. After ko sa internship ko dito, I went back to the Philippines for my graduation and also to take PNLE. It took another 3 months for me to stay there. Of course hindi siya nawala sa isipan ko. He's been my inspiration to my journey. Weeks after the Licensure Exam, I already got the result and I passed. I'm now a Registered Nurse. Along with my successful career ay ang pagiging successful din ng grupo nila. Their group boomed internationally. They had a lot of concerts in the Philippines, mall tours and guestings.

When I was in the Philippines for 3 months, I admitted it. Naging lurker niya ako, nakikibalita ako sa lahat ng ganap niya/nila. Yeah, it was really hard. I have to hide myself carefully. Natatawa nga ako eh, hindi naman nila ako kilala? Wala namang may alam sa namagitan saamin maliban sa manager nila? Isa pa, wala namang kami eh. Hindi naman naging kami...

Diba? Para akong tanga na nagtatago. Pero sinabi ko sa sarili ko, I'm hiding not because of his fans, it's because of him. Siya ang tinataguan ko. Oo, when I was still in the Philippines I also attended some of their mall tours. Hindi sa mga concerts, mall tours lang ang kaya ko. Kahit malayo or kahit hindi ko siya malapitan makita―feel ko solved na ako. I just missed him...

Ruth became their fan, a die-hard one. After I passed the PNLE, I went back again here in California. I took licensure exam here as well. And I think I am staying here for good, wala naman na akong mapapala. Masasaktan lang ako lalo na't everyone knows that he's in a relationship with Reese.

Well, I don't know if it's true pero kahit ano man iyon. Masaya ako... Masaya ako para sakaniya.

"Hey! Hazel, I thought you're not coming with us? Changes of plans?" Jeca asked. Jeca is one of Filipino nurse here in California like me. We're working on the same hospital for a year now.

Nagkasalubong kasi kami sa locker room and she saw me wearing civilian nalang. Hindi na ako naka-scrubs―as well as her.

I shook my head. "Nope. I already have my plans." I answered. Jeca smiled, "Okay, by the way are you familiar to SB19? Bukas na yung concert nila here and I have extra VIP ticket. You want?" aniya.

Natigilan ako. T-They will have a concert here, b-bukas? Hindi ako maka-react. I'm speechless. "N-No, it's okay. Di naman ako fan nila, Thank you Jeca!"

She smiled again. "Okay, well if that's the case I'll go now. Bibili pa ako ng gift for them bukas! Bye Hazel, see you around!"

Jeca left me standing and speechless sa locker area. Andito sila...

Naglalakad ako na parang wala sa sarili. Alam mo yun? May parte saakin na gustong pumunta dahil makikita ko na ulit siya ng malapitan kahit isang beses lang. Kasi for sure hindi naman niya ako makikita eh. Sa sobrang dami nilang fans imposible na makita niya pa ako. But at the same time, ayoko din. Aside from my work eh parang ayoko nang bumalik ang feelings ko sakaniya. I'm moving forward, ayoko na talaga. I'm happy!

Kahit lutang ako eh pumunta padin ako sa isang hypermarket malapit sa condo ko. Bibili kasi ako ng stocks eh, medyo wala na kasing laman.

Maliit lang yung hypermarket pero marami kang mapagpipiliang bilhin. I bought vegetables, canned goods and some meats and fish. I was about to go sa liquid section ng biglang marinig ko ang advertisement nila dito mismo sa loob.

"What the heck!" ayon lang nasabi ko. Currently playing ang song nila while here I am at nakikinig. It was Go Up, one of their hit song na favorite ko.

Nang malapit na matapos ang kanta ay tinulak ko na ang cart at sa hindi inaasahan ay may nabungo ako...

"Hala―H-Hazel?"

Oh my... no...
