Yanna woke up in an unfamiliar cold and dark place.
Napahawak siya sa ulo niya nang maramdaman ang biglaang pagkahilo. She then remembered what happened before she passed out.
She remembered she was inside the palanquin then found out that they were not going to the palace. It was already late when she recognized Meling after she inhaled the familiar strong drug smell that Doctor Jang used before to abduct her.
"That son of a bitch! How dare he abduct me now after he spare my life almost three weeks ago?" inis na bulong niya sa sarili.
She tried to use her power but found out that she can't use it. Her hands are tightly bind behind her.
She looked up when the door opened. Umusbong agad ang galit niya nang sumalubong sa kanya ang pamilyar na mukha.
Andrew smiled and sat in front of her.
"You can really sleep long." sabi ni Andrew sa malambing na boses.
He raises his right hand caressed Yanna's left cheek with the back of his hand.
Pumiglas si Yanna at galit na inatras ang sariling mukha.
"What do you want from me? Let me go!"
"You slept too long while the palace is furiously seeking for you."
"What do you mean?" naguguluhang tanong ni Yanna.
Hindi sumagot si Andrew saka tumayo habang nakangisi na tumingin sa nakabukas na pintuan.
Yanna's eyes widened in so much shock when she saw a woman that exactly looked like her.
"Ileanna?" bulong ni Yanna.
Ileanna didn't say anything and just stared at her like a robot.
Naguguluhan na tumingin siya kay Andrew.
Andrew caressed Ileanna's face in front of her, smelling her hair while closing his eyes.
"What is the meaning of this?" tanong ni Yanna.
"They said that only the floral immortal can cast the spell of the ten thorns of death. First, I didn't know that she used it to Matthew but then they saw his scars when my men captured him. And finally, all of the unanswered question in my mind was answered when I found your shadow. It explains your complete changed. Your movements, your language, your eyes and your feelings. Everything changes since you woke up. I don't know what exactly happened but I believed your mother let you lived a normal life before while making Ileanna as your shadow to protect your identity. I believed that is to make you safe from the heaven realm. But what you didn't know, the shadow that your mother created wanders around like a lost soul and live like as Ileanna. And none of you knew that."
Humalakhak ng malakas si Andrew na parang demonyo saka ipinakita sa kanya ang bagay na niregalo niya kay Matthew sa kaarawan nito.
"T-the necklace..."
"This was the reason that made you saved Matthew on time during his punishment. When Matthew was abducted. You tried to teleport with the use of this pendant and you ended up in my study. Although I didn't see you, but I know your scent."
"Mother fucker! Give that to me!" galit na sigaw ni Yanna at sinubukan ang sarili na tumayo mula sa pagkakaupo sa sahig pero bigo siya.
Andrew tossed the pendant in the air and walked around Ileanna who is standing like a corpse and fed the pendant to her that made her eyes blinked automatically.
"Ileanna, tell me what did you do yesterday." sabi ni Andrew kay Ileanna.
Ileanna turned to Andrew like a real person and bowed to Andrew gracefully.
