Chapter 55

"My lord, what should we do now?"

Hindi sumagot si Prime Minister Su sa tanong ng kanyang mga kasama. Nasa loob sila ng isang kwarto ngayon sa isang sikat na restaurant/courtesan house na lagi ring pinagtatambayan ng kanyang anak noon na si Simon.

Bumuntong-hininga si Prime Minister Su at bahagyang itinulak ang babae na nakaupo sa kandungan niya. 

"Where is that punk? Is there still no news from him?" matagal bago sumagot ang mga kasamahan niya. 

"My men already searched all around in NingJing city after they searched in the capital but they can't still find Young Lord Simon." sagot ng isa. 

Mas lalong nadagdagan ang inis ni Prime Minister Su.

"That punk really gave me headaches. How come he just left from home like that without any reason?" tanong niya na hanggang ngayon ay hindi pa rin nabibigyan ng sagot. 

Merong nagsasabi na patay na ang anak niya pero hindi siya naniniwala dahil hindi naman sila nag-away at isa pa kasama din nito ang kaibigan at bodyguard nito. Hindi niya alam kung ano ang dahilan kung bakit umalis ang anak niya sa capital.

Wala na rin kasi silang makuhang lead dahil ayon sa huling nakakakita sa anak niya at sa kaibigan nito ay huli daw nila itong nakita sa itaas ng bundok ng kagubatan kung saan nakalibing ang dating empress.

Tumawa si Luke saka inakbayan si Matthew.

"It's called give and take, little brother."

Inis na inalis ni Matthew ang mga kamay ni Luke saka umupo sa upuan. Agad naman siyang sinalinan ng tsaa ni Yuhan sa mesa.

"And you know what? Believe it or not...That little punk has a big restaurant there. It seems that he resides there five years ago three weeks after t-that incident happened here." bahagyang humina ang boses ni Luke sa huli niyang sinabi.

Matthew freezes and put down his cup on the table. He suddenly felt the tea bitter in his mouth. His eyes started to get sad and red as his heart started to feel heavy.

Napansin naman agad yon nina Luke at Yuhan. Gayundin ang nararamdaman nila.

"Five years have passer but she is still alive in my heart." malungkot ang boses na sabi ni Matthew habang nakatingin sa salamin na inilagay niya sa mesa kanina. 

Lumapit si Luke sa kanya. 

"Matthew, move on. She is already dead. Everybody saw how Yanna's body disappeared and turned into dust in front of us. Everybody also saw how the Heavenly emperor dissipated the soul of Ileanna in front of us. Their souls dissipated in front of many people. There is no way that she is still alive, Matthew." mapait na sabi ni Luke habang hinawakan sa braso si Matthew.
