Bahagyang tinakwil ni Mameh ang kamay ni Matthew at inayos ang sariling buhok.
"Daddy, are we going to ride Matteo today?" Tanong ni Matteo kay Matthew.
Mameh freezes and looked at Matteo.
"Wait, what? What did you just call him?"
"Daddy." Maikling sagot ni Matteo.
"You said that you and–"
Mameh smiled awkwardly and covered Matteo's mouth.
"Alright. Alright. Let's go eat. The foods are getting cold." Putol ni Mameh.
Wala naman sa sariling napasunod na lang si Matthew nang alalayan siya ni Mameh papunta sa hapag-kainan.
Matthew looked at the dishes that are new to his eyes. The dishes are all unfamiliar.
He is the emperor but he haven't eat these kinds of foods on the table.
"W-what's these?" Medyo nakangiwi na tanong ni Matthew habang nakaturo sa ulam na may mga maliliit na hiwa ng karne na hindi niya alam kung ano. Pero natatakam na siya sa masarap nitong amoy na dahilan ng paglalaway niya.
"I called it Sisig. It is made from pig head and chicken liver. It is also one of the main dish in the restaurant. People love it and pair it with alcohol."
Mas lalong napangiwi si Matthew sa narinig.
Matteo giggled and picked some. He ate it with gusto and looked at Matthew.
"Mameh made this dishes by her own."
"Ah... Ahh..." Sabi ni Matthew saka tumingin sa ibang mga ulam.
A big whole fish that is covered with red sauce caught his attention.
He lift his chopstick and get some of the meat. He tasted it and savor the flavor while Mameh and Matteo are watching him.
"I-it's delicious. It's sweet and sour." Komento ni Matthew.
Mameh smiled and started to eat.
"He is my friend that I fished by my self."
Nanigas si Matthew sa sinabi ni Matteo.
"W-what? Y-your friend? Y-you mean the fish?"
Tumango si Matteo.
"Yeah. All of the dishes here are my friends. They volunteer themselves for me." Sabi ni Matteo habang tinuturo ang mga ulam sa mesa.
Humalakhak si Matthew dahil sa sinabi ni Matteo.
"If they are your friends, then they are all my servants." Biro ni Matthew.
Matteo put down his chopsticks and looked at Matthew seriously.
Matthew stopped laughing and looked at Mameh and Matteo then suddenly felt awkward by himself when he saw them being serious.
"They are really my friends. All the animals, the trees, waters and including the air."
Matthew felt more awkward. He thinks the child is a bit out of his mind. He thought that Philip taught him about these thoughts which is not good.
He is worried that this child might think that he can control the nature.
"Oh... Okay." Sabi na lang niya saka nagpatuloy sa pagkain.

Nananatili pa ring kumakain sa hapag-kainan si Matthew habang si Mameh naman ay nagsisimula ng magbalot ng mga pwede nilang dadalhin.
