Chapter 23

In the last chapter, Lucas asked Vic to marry him, and she said yes!

Andy's 28 Weeks and 3 Days... When Vic heard this, she became speechless, but after a few seconds, she said "Yes!" When she said yes, Travis and Maya came out of the closet. (When Vic saw them come out of the closet, she was speechless.) After Vic said yes, she kissed Lucas, and she told him that she did feel the connection at the skyscraper.

After Lucas asked Vic to marry her, they all talked for a few minutes, but then Lucas was called to a fire. Lucas and Vic Conversation... Vic: Is this why you had so many work trips? Lucas: Yes, it is. I went to Montana every time. I didn't want to hide them for you, but I thought it was Andy's right to tell you. I hope you aren't mad at me. Vic: I'm not. I love you. Lucas: I love you too.: End of Conversation After that they kissed, and Ripley got the call for the fire. When he was called to a fire, Travis, Vic, and Maya all decided to stay there and hang out.

When Lucas was leaving, Travis told him something. Travis to Lucas: Every at 19 is family, so welcome to the family sir. The station has a rule, if you break her heart, you will regret it. (When Lucas heard that he had no clue what to think, but he went with it.)

Andy, Travis, Maya, and Vic Conversation... Vic: So who else knows about Lucas and me? Andy: All of the people in this room, plus Robert. Vic: Okay. So, does the whole team expect me, know about Andy? Andy: No, I told Maya and Travis just a few days ago, but Lucas has known everything since before I found out I was pregnant. Vic: When did you find out about Lucas and me? Andy: On the drive home from the airport, when Robert and I arrived here in Seattle. He wanted to know if I had any idea's about proposing to you. Then, I told Maya, because I needed help getting ready. Vic: Wow. I didn't see him wanting to propose coming, plus you and Travis in on it. Andy: That's good. Now, I have to tell the team about Robert and the baby. I made a promise to Robert, that I would tell the team about the baby and him. Maya: Don't worry Travis, Vic, and I will have your back. Andy: Thank you, guys. That helps. I just hope the team will be happy for me. Has the team said anything? Travis: They are curious about why you aren't working and why you aren't captain. Jack wants to know what's really going on. Andy: I didn't think about it, but did I hurt y'all when I left? Maya: All of us were hurt for a little bit, but in the end, we were happy, because you were happy. Andy: Okay. What do you guys want to know? Vic: What is Sullivan like? Andy: He has two sides. One side the station sees, and one his family sees. He will protect you with his life if needed. He's the kindest man I have ever met and loved. He makes me smile when I'm sad or even angry. When he makes me smile, I hate but love it at the same time. He also makes me feel safe. Maya: How do you feel about the baby? Andy: I'm terrified, but then something happens. Come here and feel her kick. (So they all came close and felt her move. When they felt her move, they were surprised.) Andy: There were a lot of firsts so far, and they have all made me realize that I'm having a baby. The first time I heard her heartbeat, my first ultrasound, and the most important was, finding out we were having a daughter. Vic: So, what shift are you going to tell the team? Andy: The one where, I'm ready, but I don't see that happening. I will probably tell them before I'm 32 weeks. Maya: Well, let us know when you're going to tell them, so we'll be ready. Andy: Okay.: End of Conversation

After that, they all talked for a little bit, and slowly they all started going home. They were all home by five in the evening. After they all left, that's when she remembered that she needed to call Robert and let him know what happened.

Andy and Robert's Phone Call... Andy: She said yes. Robert: That's amazing. Andy: I'm sorry, I didn't call sooner. The four of us were all catching up after, Lucas was called somewhere. Robert: That's alright. I'm glad that y'all are catching up. When are we going to tell the team? Andy: I was thinking possibly a shift next week or the week after, and Maya, Travis, and Vic all have my back. Robert: Okay. I can't wait to see you around the station. Andy: Me too. Robert: There's a call coming in. Andy: Okay. I love you so much. You are safe. Robert: I love you too.: End of Conversation

After they hung up, it was about six in the evening, so Andy went and made dinner. After dinner, Andy just hung out on the couch. When Robert got home, the next morning, he found Andy asleep on the couch, kissed her, and then went upstairs.

Andy's 28 Weeks and 5 Days... Today is Andy's first doctor appointment in Seattle. She's seeing Dr. Carina Delcua. The last appointment she had was her 24-week appointment. Andy and Robert got up, it was a couple of hours till her appointment. So Robert got up and made breakfast, while Andy took a shower. After Andy took her shower, she came down, and they had breakfast together. After they ate, Robert went and took his shower, while Andy got ready to go. By the time they both ate, showered, and got ready it was about time to leave.

When they made it to their appointment, it was scary, because that's their first appointment in Seattle. When they made it to their appointment, Andy had to fill out a stack of paperwork, and then she was taken back to a room. Since Andy had never seen Carnia before. So Carina did an exam, and then they talked about everything starting from before her pregnancy to right then. Then Carina did an ultrasound to check everything for herself.

So Carina took them and did the ultrasound. During the ultrasound, they did another anatomy scan. After the anatomy scan, Carina gave them some pictures of their little girl. Seeing and hearing their daughter made them happy. After that, the appointment was over, and they scheduled their 32-week appointment.
