Chapter 14

Andy's 22 Weeks and 6 Days... Robert decided today, that he needed to meet with Pruitt because he needed something. So Robert and Pruitt set a meeting for tomorrow. Tomorrow Lucas is on shift, so they decided to look at apartments today. They looked at six places, and they found two potentials, so they called it a day.

Andy was off today, so she just rested. She knew that he was out apartment hunting for their family. So she called Robert that evening and talked to him for a few hours. While they were talking they talked about the two potentials houses, and choose one.

Andy's 23 Weeks and 1 Day... When Robert woke up this morning, he was so excited to see Pruitt, because he needed his help with something. They decided to meet for lunch, so that way they could talk. Meanwhile, Andy was wishing that Robert was here, so she decided to go into the fire academy, and just hang there.

Before Robert headed to lunch, to meet Pruitt, Robert called the realtor and told him which apartment they choose, and the relator told him to come in tomorrow. After they hung up, Robert headed to lunch.

At Lunch... Pruitt arrived first, and Robert wasn't far behind. When Robert got there he was anxious but excited at the same time. Pruitt was confused about why Robert was in Seattle alone and why he wanted to meet for lunch, but he went with it. When Robert arrived, he told Pruitt "We need to talk."

Robert and Pruitt Conversation... Pruitt: Hello. Robert: Hello. Pruitt: Why did you call me here. Robert: I want to ask Andy to marry me when we move down here. Andy gave up the captain's job at 19, and she has always wanted that job. Since she gave it up, and I love her so much, I want to marry her. Also, give her a surprise for our rental house. Pruitt: Okay. Why do you need me? Robert: I want us to go ring shopping together, today. I've been saving, and I love her so much. What do you think? Pruitt: I'm glad you called. Andy loves to have everything together early, so if possible, we should get some furniture or something for the baby done. Robert: Okay. The first stop we'll make is the ring shop, and then we'll go order the furniture. Pruitt: Okay.: End of Conversation

Ring Shopping – They ate lunch, talked for a little bit, paid, and left. Then they headed to the ring store. When they made it there, both Robert and Pruitt got overwhelmed. While Pruitt was looking he came across a ring similar to the ring he got Elena. When he saw it, he called Robert over to look at the rings in that area. After Robert looked for a minute he came across the same ring Pruitt did. When Robert picked that ring, Pruitt knew it was fate. So Robert picked that ring, gave them her ring size, and paid for it. When he paid, they said the ring will be ready in two to three weeks.

At the Fire Academy... Andy hanged at the fire academy for most of the day. She just hanged out, talked to her friends, and taught a little. Lately, Andy has been feeling butterflies in her belly, and she doesn't know what it means.

Captain Hopper and Andy Conversation... Andy: Hey. I am lonely at home, so I am here. Captain Hopper: Okay. How's it going? Andy: Robert's looking for a place in Seattle, so I'm here alone, so I'm trying to keep busy. Captain Hopper: How are you feeling? Andy: Good, but I feel like I have butterflies in my stomach multiple times a day. Captain Hopper: Did you know that I have a daughter and a son? Andy: No, I didn't. Why? Captain Hopper: When my wife was pregnant, and she started to feel them kick, she said it felt like she had butterflies. (When Andy heard that, she was actually kinda surprised) Andy: Really? Captain Hopper: Yeah. Andy: Okay.: End of Conversation

When Andy learned that, she was surprised to learn that she was feeling her daughter kick, and she couldn't wait to tell Robert.

After that, Robert headed to the realtors, to get the key. Pruitt went with Robert to pick up the key, and then they headed to the baby store to buy the furniture. When they arrived, Robert went in and ordered the furniture, and Pruitt picked up a couple of surprise presents for the nursery.

Later that evening... When Andy got home she decided to call Robert, and tell him that the baby is kicking.

Andy and Robert's Phone Call... Robert: Hey. How's it going? Andy: Our daughter is kicking. Robert: Really?! Andy: Yeah. I was hanging out at the fire academy today since I hate being in the apartment alone, I was talking with Captain Hopper, and he told me that when his wife started to feel their son and daughter kick, it felt like butterflies. I can't wait for you to feel her. I love you. Robert: I love you too. Bye.: End of Conversation

Andy's 23 Weeks and 2 Days... Lucas is off today since he was on shift yesterday. Today, Robert is meeting Pruitt and Lucas, at the furniture store so that way the apartment can have some stuff in it when they move down here. While they were at the furniture store, the three of them made a plan. Since Robert is leaving in three days, they made a plan, for both Pruitt and Lucas to set up the apartment with his help, so when Andy comes down, the apartment could be ready.

Andy's 23 Weeks and 4 Days... Robert is so happy to be going home because he can't wait to see Andy,. Yesterday, Robert signed his contract with Ripley. Today, Andy's off, and she can't wait to pick him up at the airport. Andy had her last shift yesterday, and it was a sad and happy goodbye. When Andy was getting everything out of her temporary locker, everyone surprised her with presents, and when they said goodbye it was hard. She finishes her contract next Monday, and right now it's Friday. Andy was sad to finish her contract but happy to be going back to Seattle.

When Robert landed at the airport he was excited to see Andy. When he saw her after he grabbed his bags, he just kissed her. After that, they went home and talked about how their trip went. After talking for a bit, they talked about the apartment, and how they are going to move.

Time Jump...

Andy's 24 Weeks and 6 Day... Over the past couple of weeks, Andy and Robert have been busy. They sold Robert's house, with most of the furniture. They kept everything important. They have also packed the whole house. Tomorrow is Robert's last shift, and Andy says goodbye to everyone. Then they leave for Seattle that Monday.
