Montana

Chapter 1

Here's the first chapter. A brand new story. Chapter 2, will be coming out next Wednesday. I hope you enjoy it.

Andy was sent to training in Missoula County, Montana. The city is Missoula, Montana

Pruitt retired about six months ago. This means that Andy and Jack have been in a race to see who will become captain next. A couple of months into the captain race, an opportunity came up to send one firefighter to Missoula County, Montana for advanced training. So Ripley decided to send Andy.

The day before Andy left, she met with Chief Ripley, at his office. When she met with Chief Ripley she learned that she would be under the command of Captain Robert Sullivan. Also, the training would be seven weeks, counting the week off halfway thru the training. After she met with him she got even more excited to get more training. After that meeting, she left the next day.

When she arrived at the airport Robert came and picked her up. As soon as he laid his eyes on her, he felt an instant connection. After she got her bags, he brought her to the company apartment, where she would be staying for the next seven weeks. When Andy first arrived, after Robert dropped her off at the company apartment, Robert called Lucas.

Robert and Lucas Conversation... Robert: Why did you really send Herrera here? Lucas: Because she is one of the best firefighters I have ever seen, and I knew that she would intrigue you, and I guessed that you may like her. Be careful, she's a rule breaker. We will talk later, bye.

The First Three Weeks... During the first three weeks, Andy does better than any other trainee. All of the captains take special notice to her, but especially Robert. Andy had so much fun getting the extra training, and before she knew it, it had been three weeks, and it was time for everyone to take a break, so during that week, she decided to go home and see everyone, plus talk to Ripley.

When she landed, Maya picked her up. Maya was super excited to hear about everything that has happened over the last three weeks because they haven't talked much since Andy left. Andy was so glad that everyone was off shift the day that she arrived because she was really missing her family. When she got to, her and Maya's apartment, the whole team was there waiting for her. After hanging out with the team for a few hours, Andy went to bed to rest, because she goes back to Montana in two days, so she grabbed everything she needed from her room and put it in her suitcase, because tomorrow she's meeting with Chief Ripley, and then she's flying back to Montana the next day. Andy was so glad to be back in her bed that night, and she woke up in just enough time to meet with Chief Ripley.

Andy and Ripley Conversation... Ripley: How have you been enjoying Montana? Andy: It's hot, but I'm loving the extra training. Ripley: That's good. What do you think of your commanding officer? Andy: He's good, but sir I know you sent me there because you thought I would intrigue him, and like him. I know that, because my father has been doing that my whole career, but I thought you should know, that I do intrigue him and that I do like him. Are you coming up, for the final day of training? We will be doing an obstacle course, of everything that we have learned. (Ripley chuckles.) Lucas: Yes, I will be coming up there, but you should know that the team can't come. Andy: I know, sir. Lucas: Please, call me Lucas. Andy: Okay. I have a question? Lucas: Okay. What is it? Andy: Why did you and Sullivan have a falling out? Lucas: I'm not the right person to tell that story. That's his story to tell. Andy: Okay. I will be heading back to Montana, tomorrow. I will keep you updated. Lucas: Okay. Have a good trip. Andy: Thank you, Lucas. Lucas: You're welcome.: End of Conversation

Andy and the team hanged out that night and talked. They had a shift the next day, and Andy had an early flight, which Maya was taking her too. In the morning, Andy made sure that she had everything she wanted and needed. She was up before Maya, and Maya drove her to the airport. So Andy got on the plane and went back to Montana.
