Chapter 16

Here's today's chapter. I hope you enjoy it. 

Andy's 25 Weeks and 5 days... Today Andy and Robert go to Seattle. Their flight is at 9:00 in the morning. Yesterday, the movers came and took all the furniture that they're taking with them to Seattle.

Andy and Robert woke up about 6:00 in the morning. When they got up, they had to grab everything they have left. So over the next couple of hours, they got everything together and left for the airport about nine in the morning. When Andy woke up, she was anxious but excited to be going to Seattle. On the way to the airport, Andy texted Lucas that they were on the way to the airport and that they would text when the board and land.

A couple of weeks ago, Andy and Robert decided to give Robert's car to the fire academy, for people who need it. So they planned to park it in the parking garage and leave it in a spot. After they parked it, they would text Captain Hopper where it and the keys are.

When they made it to the airport, they checked in and headed to their gate. They made it to their gate on time. While they were waiting they texted Lucas that they were at their gate, and they would be taking off soon.

About 6 Hours Later... It's about 3:00 in the afternoon, and they have landed safely. Lucas headed their way, when the plane was supposed to be there, which was 2:30 in the afternoon. So by the time they landed and grabbed their luggage and went outside Lucas was already there waiting for them. When he saw them, he waved them over, and to his surprise, they only had four bags. So they loaded up and started to head over to the apartment. While they were heading to the apartment, Lucas decided to ask Andy a question.

Andy. Robert and Lucas Conversation... Lucas: Hey Andy. Andy: Yeah. Lucas: I have a question. Andy: Okay. What is it? Lucas: This might surprise you, but Vic and I have been together for about a year, and I want to ask her to marry me. (Andy's speechless.) Andy: Has she told Travis? Lucas: Yes. Andy: Okay. Then it's real for her because you know Travis is her best friend. Does the rest of the team know? Lucas: No. Andy: Okay. I would do it, somewhere with just you and her, but I haven't been here for the past seven months, so I am not really sure. Whatever you do, try and plan it with Travis. If I come up with any idea's I will let you know. Lucas: Okay. (Robert is listening to this whole conversation, trying to figure out everything they are talking about.) After Andy told him that, they just drove to the apartment.

At the Apartment... Lucas: Okay. Here we are. We set up everything as you wanted, and the furniture got delayed, so it won't be here for a few days. Andy: Okay. Robert: Okay. Andy, now me, Lucas, and Pruitt got a surprise together. So when we get inside, you have to cover your eyes. Andy: Okay. Please tell me, that my team isn't behind that door, because they have no clue about you or the baby. Robert: They aren't. Andy: Okay. (When Andy walked into the apartment, she loved it. While she looked around the downstairs, Lucas handed Robert the ring secretly.) Robert: The surprise is upstairs. Andy: Okay. I'll walk up the stairs, and then close my eyes. Robert: Okay. (When Andy made it upstairs, Robert has put his hands over her eyes so she won't cheat. Robert, then opens the door nursery door, and he uncovers her eyes.) Andy: Oh my, I love it! It's everything we decided on. I can believe y'all did this for me. (When Andy walked over to the crib, and when she saw the sheet it said "Will you marry my daddy?" When Andy turned around and saw Robert was on his knee, she just started crying.) Robert: So, will you marry me? Andy: Yes, I will. I love you. Robert: I love you too.

Lucas was standing in the doorway, watching all of it. When Andy said yes, he thought of how much he wants Vic to see yes to him. After that, they hang out for an hour or two, and then Lucas left.

Andy's 25 Weeks and 6 Days... When Andy woke up this morning and realized that she was back in Seattle she was happy. Robert has his first shift with the team Tuesday and right now is Saturday. When Andy woke up this morning, she had a text from Lucas saying that she needed to call him about Robert's first shift. After she had been awake for a little bit, she went into the nursery and called Lucas.

Andy and Lucas Conversation... Andy: Hey. What do you need, sir? Lucas: I want you to come to the station when I'm introducing everyone to Robert. Andy: If you don't mind me asking, why? Lucas: I think it would be a good idea for you to see the team, and for them to see you. You would stand between me and Robert. Since the team knows that he was one of your captains that you have worked with, you can tell them about him. Andy: What about the baby? Lucas: I thought you could wear a big shirt because I want you there. Andy: Okay. I guess I'll come. Since Maya will see me when I come, I can go get my car keys after. Lucas: Okay. I guess I'll see you Tuesday morning. Andy: Okay.: End of Conversation

After that, they hung up. A couple of minutes later, Robert came and found her in the nursery in the rocking chair. When he came in and saw her in the rocking chair, he was happy to see her in there, because that's their daughter's room.
