Chapter 29

Hello everyone. Here's another chapter. Sorry, it's been a while, I still have no internet, but so it's been hard to post, but here's a chapter.

Andy's 30 Weeks and 5 Days... Robert was on shift today, so Andy decided to pay him a visit, but when she got there, Chief Wilson and Lucas were at the station. When she got there, she was surprised to see both of them.

Andy, Chief Wilson, and Robert Conversation... Andy: Sir, what are you doing here? Chief Wilson: I'm here to talk to Sullivan with Chief Ripley. Andy: Okay. Robert: Chief Wilson and Ripley, let's talk in my office. Chief Wilson: Okay. Andy: If you don't mind, may I join? Robert: You may. Chief's why are you here? Chief Wilson: There is a fire convention in Portland, OR that I signed you up to attend before you came to Seattle and I forgot about it. Lucas: Chief Wilson and I talked and we were wondering if you would attend and represent both Seattle and Montana. So would you? Robert: Okay. When is it? Chief Wilson: Sometime next week. What's your last shift next week? Robert: Saturday. Chief Wilson: Okay. You would leave Monday and come back Sunday. Robert: Okay. (Chief Wilson and Lucas leave.) Andy: So I guess, you're going to a fire convention. Robert: I guess. Will you be fine alone? Andy: Yeah. I'll have the team over, but no parties. Robert: Okay. I guess I'm going to Portland. Andy: I do wish I could come with you, but I probably should fly, because of the baby, you will miss my 32-week appointment. Robert: That sucks. I love you. Andy: I love you too. I'm going to go hang with the team. Robert: Okay. I'll do some paperwork. Andy: Okay.: End of Conversation After that Andy went downstairs and told them all what was going on. Then she headed home after a couple of hours.

Andy's 30 Weeks and 6 Days... When Robert got home this morning, Andy was waiting for him, so that way they could talk about the Portland thing. When he came in the door, he came over and sat by Andy on the couch, and they talked about everything. Robert leaves in just 4 days, so they have a lot to figure out.

Andy's 31 Weeks and 2 Days... Robert is leaving for Portland tomorrow for five days, so Andy and Robert decided to spend the day together. Robert surprised Andy with breakfast in bed, and after breakfast, they hung out in bed for a couple of hours. The whole time they were hanging in bed, Robert had his hand on her belly.

They both got up around eleven in the morning. When they got up, Robert had to start packing. While he was packing, Andy sat in bed, while Robert packed. After Robert finished packing, he went and made lunch. After they ate lunch, they were just lazy for the rest of the day.

(Robert Leaves: Monday) Andy's 31 Weeks and 3 Days... Today, Robert has to go to Portland for about a week. When Andy got up, Robert hands his hand on her belly, and he was talking to their daughter. It took a minute, but he noticed that she was awake.

Andy and Robert Conversation... Robert: Good morning. Andy: Morning. You know when you talk to her she moves so much. Robert: Really? Andy: Yes, she knows her daddy's voice. How are you feeling? Robert: Like I don't want to leave y'all. Andy: It's only for six days. Robert: I know, but I still don't want to. I feel like something bad is going to happen. Andy: Like what? Robert: I don't know. Andy: Someone is always going to be with me. Have you learned any more on why you're going? Robert: Yes, I learned that there is a series of classes I need to teach, there is a case that they need me on, and a couple more things. Andy: Okay. It sucks that you're going to miss my 32 week appointment. That will be the first appointment you've ever missed. Robert: I know. Andy: I'm going to try and take Maya and Vic with me. Robert: Okay. I think it's about time to get up. Andy: Yep. If we get up, I will realize that you're really going to leave me. Robert: I'm sorry. Andy: Would you like to take a shower? Robert: Sure.: End of Conversation

After that, they went and took a shower. After their shower, they got ready to go, and Robert finished packing and grabbed everything else he needed to pack. After that, they got ready to go, and they left for the airport.

When they got to the airport, Andy began to feel overwhelmed, because she didn't want Robert to go, but he calmed her down.

Andy and Robert Conversation... Andy: I don't want you to go. Robert: I know. Do you remember what we said when we both came to Seattle? Andy: Yes, I do. Robert: What did we say? Andy: We said "I love you. I will see you in one week. Right here in this spot. Goodbye for now." Robert: Those words are true even today. I love you. Andy: I love you too. Goodbye for now. Call when you land. Robert: I will. Bye.: End of Conversation After that, Robert went thru the doors of the airport. When Andy got in her car, she started to cry, but she drove away. She decided to go to Maya's, since she didn't want to be alone.

Robert's flight lasted about an hour. The first thing he did when he landed was called Andy. When he called she answered. He called to tell her that he loves her and that he made it safely. After that, he went and got his luggage and rented his car. Then headed to his hotel.

Andy was at Maya's hanging out, when she got the call from Robert telling her that he landed and that he was heading to his hotel. When she heard his voice, she just felt at ease. After hanging at Maya's apartment for a little bit, they headed back to Andy and Robert's house. When they got there, Maya made dinner and Andy talked to Robert for a little bit. After that, they went to bed.
