Chapter 9

Hello everyone! I hope you started off the week well. Here's a chapter for everyone. I hope you enjoy it. By the way, over the next few chapters, there will be a lot of time jumps. So beware.

Since I accidentally posted this, I will keep it up. See everyone, again Thursday.

Time Jump...

Andy's 13 Week's 5 Days... When Andy woke up, she remembered that her dad is coming to town today, to met Robert. Robert is usually the first one up. In the mornings Robert will go for a run. When he leaves for a run, he'll leave a note on her bedside table. When Andy woke up this morning, she just kept wondering what would Pruitt think about him, but after a minute she checked the note.

The Note: Good morning. I'm going for a run. I can't wait to meet your father. I love you so much.

When Andy saw that note, she felt a little bit at ease. After reading the note, she took a shower. After her shower, she noticed that her belly popped. After she noticed that and got dressed she went downstairs. By the time she made it all the way down the stairs, Robert was coming thru the front door. When she saw him come from the door, she was happy to see him.

When Robert got back, he went and took a shower, and then they both got ready to go meet Pruitt.

Andy and Robert were the first ones at the restaurant. When they got there, they went and grabbed a table. Robert was really nervous meeting Pruitt because little did Andy know, that Robert wants to marry her. While they were waiting Andy and Robert decided that they were going to wait to tell Pruitt about the baby.

10 Minutes Later... When Andy saw Pruitt coming thru the door, Andy went to greet him. Pruitt knew why he was coming here, but he was happy to see Andy at that moment. After Andy hugged Pruitt, she brought him to the table. When Pruitt arrived at the table, Robert stood up and shook his hand.

Andy, Robert, and Pruitt Conversation... Robert: Hello Sir. Nice to met you. Pruitt: Nice to meet you too. (Everyone sat down.) Pruitt: So, how did you end of meeting Andy? Robert: Ripley sent her down here for the training, but he was setting us up, without telling either of us. When she got back, from the week in Seattle, and I brought her back to the company apartment I kissed her. Then it was history. Pruitt: How do you know Ripley exactly? Robert: About 10 years ago, when I was working in Seattle with him, we got dispatched to a three-car accident, and one of the victims was my wife. Ripley tried to save her, but he couldn't. Every time I would see Ripley, I would see her on the ground, so I decided to move away. Claire always loved it here, so I moved here.: End of Conversation After Robert told that story to Pruitt, they talked for a little bit. After they talked for an hour, they planned to met Pruitt at their apartment.

After lunch, they headed to their apartment. While they were heading to Robert's apartment, Andy got a call from Captain Hopper asking her to come to the training center. When both Robert heard that he got worried. When they made it to the apartment, Andy went upstairs, and got changed into her uniform, and headed to the training academy. When she got that call, she totally forgot about Pruitt.

When Pruitt got to the apartment, he was surprised to find Robert alone. Robert was also glad that Pruitt came because he knew at that minute that he had a question to ask Pruitt.

When Andy got to the training center she had no clue what to expect. She was meeting with him next Friday evening to tell him about the pregnancy, but she had no clue why he called her in.

At Home... When Pruitt arrived at Robert's apartment, he was confused about why Andy wasn't there, but Robert explained everything. Pruitt decided to stay and talk to Robert.

Robert and Pruitt Conversation... Pruitt: Andy has never introduced me to a boyfriend this early, but I have a feeling that something is different. When she looks at you, her eyes sparkle. I have one question "Do you love her as much as she loves you?" (When Robert heard that he was surprised but happy.) Robert: Yes, I do. In fact, I think I love her more. I was glad today when she got called into the training center because I have a question for you. Pruitt: Okay. What is it? Robert: I would love to marry your daughter. May I have your permission? Pruitt: Why, do you want to marry her? Robert telling Pruitt: Andy has made me feel like I can breathe again. She makes me smile when I don't want to. The best thing she does is that she wakes me want to wake up every day. She told me that she loved me less than a week into our relationship. I don't see her as another Claire, but I see her as a woman who makes me feel like I can be happy again. Andy's the woman who I want to wake up every morning with and go to bed every night with. I love her so much, that I want to shout from the rooftops. I just love her with every inch of my body. Robert: I also know that, that she would want me to have your permission to marry her because she loves you. Pruitt: That's very honest. I think the way that you just talked to me, made me know that you really do love her, and want to marry her, so you have my blessing. Robert: Really? Pruitt: Yes. Robert: Just so you know, it will take a little bit to get the ring, but when I have it I'll let you know. Pruitt: Okay. Good to know.: End of Conversation

At the training center, Andy was called in because one of the firefighters needed to see her about a training thing. Andy was glad it was easy to deal with. She knew that it was going to happen again because in six months she's trying to train all the firefighters in Missoula County everything she knows about Rapid Intervention. After she showed them, and they figured it out, she went home.
