I am releasing this chapter in honor of my Great Grandmother Anne, but I call her Grandma Anne. My middle name is Anne. Today she is 95, but sadly she's been gone for about 15 years. She knew about me but never got to meet me. Since I am going to see her today, I wanted to release a chapter. There will still be a chapter Wednesday.

I re-did the ending. I hope you enjoy it.

When Andy got back to Montana; Robert was waiting for her at the airport. She wasn't expecting him to be at the airport, so she loaded her bags, and then the drove back to the company apartment. When they got to the apartment, he brought her bags in. After he brought her bags in and put them down in the bedroom. When he was leaving, he turned around and kissed her, and then left. After he left, she realized what happened. She still had about two days left, of the week off. So the next day she just rested and thought about that kiss, and that evening she went over to his apartment. When she got there she knocked on his door, before he could say anything, she kissed him, when she kissed him, he was totally shocked, and he kissed her back. So, she stayed the night, and the next day he took her back to the company apartment, to drop her off for the night. The next morning she was back in training.

A couple of days after Andy went back to Montana, and Lucas called Pruitt. Lucas called Pruitt and asked if he was going to see Andy do the training course, that she has been training for the last six weeks. Pruitt knew Andy had been doing the training, but not that he could come and see her, so he told Lucas yes, and not to tell Andy.

Over the next three weeks, Andy did amazing in her training and got to know Robert more. At the end of the three weeks, Lucas, and Pruitt came to see Andy do the final training course. When Lucas arrived, Andy came over to see him, and when she saw Pruitt she was very surprised and happy to see him. After she saw them for a couple of minutes; it was time to do the training course.

For the final day, all the firefighters wore their uniforms, and t-shirts to show where they were from. The total exercise took about an hour, to complete the whole course. By the end of the exercise, Fire Chief Wilson of Missoula County, Montana, noticed Andy. After she took a break and sat down beside, Pruitt, and Ripley, Chief Wilson came over to talk to Andy, and Ripley. When he came over Andy jumped up, and got into formation; when Chief Wilson saw that, he was very surprised, because even his own people don't do that. After he told her to sit, they had a talk about, Andy coming to Montana and train their firefighters because she was so good. When Ripley and Pruitt heard that, they were very surprised and proud of her. When Chief Wilson told her that, he asked her to stop by his office, in a couple of days for them to talk.

After the training exercise, Andy, Pruitt, and Lucas all went out to lunch. Andy really wanted to invite Robert, but they agreed not to tell anyone about them yet. At lunch since Andy did so well, Ripley gave her the week off, and with the week off, he gave her a chance to take more time off if she wanted, to either train more or just relax here in Montana. After he told her all that, he offered her the job to be Captain of 19. When Pruitt heard that, he was very proud of her, and when Andy heard that she was shocked. After he told her, he also said, that she can think about it for the week, and when you decide, you can call me here. After that, they hanged out and talked for about an hour. After lunch, Pruitt had a plane to catch. After Pruitt left, Andy and Lucas talked for a couple of minutes. Andy hadn't told anyone, on how she felt, so she decided to talk to Lucas about it.

Andy and Lucas Conversation... Andy: Hey. Can we talk for a minute, but not about work? Lucas: Sure. What about? Andy: Robert. He kissed me, the day I got back, and the next day, I went over to his place and kissed him. You were right, we've only been together for less than three weeks, and I love him. I have never felt this kind of love before, especially not with Ryan. Lucas: Okay. Andy: The thing is, I really don't want to leave Montana without him. I want to be 19's captain, but I don't want to leave him. What do I do? Lucas: I think you, should talk to him. If you love him, as you do, you should tell him, about how you feel. I will give you a little more time, to decide if you want to be a captain or not. Why are you talking to me about it, not Maya or Vic? Andy: Because I don't want them to know about this yet. Lucas: Okay. I know you don't have a car, do you need a ride, to the apartment or his place? Andy: Yes, please. (Lucas drove Andy to his place. When they got there:) Lucas: Keep in touch, and let me know how it goes. Andy: Okay. Please, don't tell him I told you. Lucas: Okay. Talk to you soon. Bye. Andy: Bye.: End of Conversation

When Andy got his place, she knew that she had to tell him, how she felt, and he was expecting her.

Andy and Robert Conversation... Andy: We need to talk. (Robert gets nervous) Robert: About what? Andy: At lunch, I found out if I wanted I could be captain of 19, but the thing is I don't want to leave you. I know that we have only been together for less than three weeks, but I love you. I have only had three real relationships and I have never felt like I do, with you. The love I feel with you is real. It's like, I have never loved anyone before. When I kiss you, I don't want to stop. Please, give me a reason to stay. Please. Robert: I love you too. Please don't go. (When Robert said those words back, Andy had never been happier.): End of Conversation

That night, she set up a meeting with Chief Wilson, and the next day, she's flying home to grab more things and talk to Ripley and the team.

The Next Day... Robert had a shift, and Andy had a meeting with Chief Wilson, to discuss what would happen if she were to stay in Montana. At the meeting, she learned that if she were to stay she'd be on-lend to the Missoula County Fire Department from the Seattle Fire Department, and her commanding officer will be Robert Sullivan. Also, if she were to go on any calls, she would be on ambulance duty, because the chief doesn't doubt her abilities, but he wants her to be safe. Also, her main focus would be training firefighters. When she works a shift, she would be a lieutenant, but when she's training firefighters, she'll be about the battalion chief rank, but not a battalion chief.

When Andy had the meeting with Chief Wilson she decided that she was going to stay, so she signed a 6-month contract, which means she will be in Montana for at least 6 months. She signed the contract because she doesn't want to leave Robert. After she signed the contract, she learned that she needs to move out of the company fire apartment. She will start the Monday that she gets back from Seattle.

In honor of her, please have a chocolate chip cookie in honor of her, if you can.

I love you, Grandma Anne. Happy 95th Birthday.
