Chapter 34

Andy's 37 Weeks and 1 Day... Today is my wedding day. Today is the wedding. Robert woke up around seven this morning, and he was excited but anxious. Andy thinks that Robert has a meeting, but he's decorating and getting ready.

Robert decided this morning, that he's going to go see Claire. When Robert arrived at Claire's gravesite, he sat down and pulled out the letter he gave Claire on the day of their wedding. So he sat down beside it, and read it to her. After he read her the letter, he told her about Andy.

Robert to Claire... Hey, Claire. Do you remember the letter I wrote you and gave you on our wedding day? Well, I brought it here today. I don't know if you're mad at me or not, but I'm getting married again, and I'm having a daughter. I remember talking about us having kids on our wedding night, and I know how much you wanted a daughter. I don't know if you sent me Andy or our daughter, but I thank you for them. Andy is amazing, and she's so much like you. I know that you would love her and that you guys would be good friends. I will never stop loving you, and I really miss you. I'll try and bring her by. Goodbye, for now. I love you so much.

After he finished talking to Claire, it was about ten in the morning, and he headed to the hotel to get Mark and then he headed to the station to get ready for the wedding. Yesterday, everyone arrived from the fire academy, and Robert loved having this surprise.

Andy was hanging on the couch when there was a knock on the door. Andy was expecting Maya and Vic. When she opened the door, she saw Maya and Vic standing there with big smiles on their faces. Along with three dresses. One of the dresses was the dress she fell in love with, and the other two were for Maya and Vic.

Conversation... Andy: What are you guys doing here with dresses? Vic: You don't get to know that yet. You must get dressed first, we will tell you, and then we'll do your makeup and hair. Andy: Okay. (Andy gets dressed, and comes back down the stairs.) Andy: I'm dressed. What's going on?: End of Conversation After Andy asks that, Maya hands Andy the letter.

The Letter... My sweet and beautiful Andy. You are so beautiful. I have waited so long to say this, but today you become my wife. Andy, today is our wedding day and baby shower. I love you so much. I hope you will do the honor of becoming my wife. I love you, see you soon hopefully. Love, Robert P.S. Please, be my wife.: End of Letter By the time Andy was finishing reading the letter she was crying.

Conversation... Andy: Is all this really true? Maya: Yes, it is. You have to get ready, you're getting married in less than four hours. (When Andy heard that, she just fell to her knees and started to cry, and hold her stomach.) Andy: I can't believe this is real. This can't be real. Maya: Andy, this is real. Vic: Andy, it's real. We need to do your makeup. Andy: Wow. Is that the dress I tried on? Maya: Yes. Andy: Wow. I love this man so much. Maya: There are more surprises coming. You can ask questions later. Andy: Okay, Be careful or I might go back into labor. Maya: Hopefully you don't. You're getting married.: End of Conversation After that, they all got ready for the wedding and left.

When Andy arrived at the station, she was surprised at how the station was decorated. The station was decorated in white and pink. The fire trucks were out in front of the station. They were draped in pink and white sheets. There were flowers, decorations, and chairs in rows of five. When she came in, she saw Travis in dress blues, and she just couldn't believe how beautiful the station was. After she walked thru the barn, Maya and Vic took her upstairs so that way she could sit down.

When Andy came into the beanary, she saw everyone from the fire academy, and she was just surprised.

Conversation... Elle: Hey, girl. We heard you were getting married, so we decided to come for a visit. Andy: I can't believe this is happening, and that you guys are here. I have missed you guys so much. Elle: Have you written your vows? Andy: No, I actually didn't think about them. I'm probably going to wing it. Elle: Okay. (Mark Hopper comes in.) Mark: Andy, you look beautiful. Andy: Thank you. You're in dress blues also. Mark: Almost everyone is. Andy: Can I have a minute with Mark please? Everyone: Yes. Mark: What do you need? Andy: Would you give me away? You have really touched my life. Mark: Yes, I will. What about your father? Andy: I tried to call him, but he didn't answer. So, I'm going to do this without him, but I'm glad you're here. Mark: Me too. (Lucas comes in.) Lucas: Andy, you look beautiful. It's almost time to get married. Everyone's sitting down. Are you ready? Andy: As I can be. How's Robert? Lucas: Anxious. He's more anxious than he was with Claire. However, he sent me up here to check on you and baby girl. It's Claire's birthday tomorrow, I'm not sure if he told you. Andy: He didn't. Thank you for telling me. Give me a minute, and I'll be down. Lucas: Okay. (After Lucas leaves, Andy gets a sharp pain, but it wasn't strong. So, she didn't tell anyone. So she went down the stairs. At the bottom of the stairs are Mark, Vic, and Maya.) Maya: We will go out first, and then you guys go. Andy: Okay. Vic: You ready? Andy: I've been ready to marry him for the past ten months.
