Chapter 13

Andy's 20 Weeks and 4 Days... Andy couldn't wait to know if Lucas had told Robert yet, that he's going to be captain of 19. When Robert walked thru the door, he had a huge smile on his face, so Andy knew that Lucas had told him.

Andy didn't know how long it was going to take for Robert to tell her, so she decided after they rested that they could go to the baby store. They need to go to the baby store because they need to make baby girl's registry. Robert and Andy rested for about an hour, and then they left.

When they arrived at the baby store, they were shocked at how big the store was. All-day, they just made a baby registry. By the end of the day, they made the whole registry. Andy had fun all day. When they got home, Robert told Andy that they needed to talk.

Andy and Robert Conversation... Robert: We need to talk. Andy: Okay. About what? Robert: Seattle. Andy: Okay. Robert: I got a job down there. Andy: I know. Robert: How? Andy: Lucas called me yesterday, and told me that you asked him for a job. He knew that I probably wouldn't be captain of 19, so I told him to give it to you because I have everything I ever wanted. I have you, and then I'm having a daughter. Robert: Okay. Just so you know, having you is everything I have ever wanted.: End of Conversation

Time Jump...

Andy's 22 Weeks and 4 Days... Tomorrow Robert is leaving for Seattle to see Ripley and get an apartment. When Andy woke up this morning, she decided since Robert is leaving for the next week that she would take some shifts at her station. Also, she would go hang at the academy.

While Robert was packing, Andy stopped by the fire academy. When she walked into Captain Hopper's office he was surprised to see her, but she only had two weeks left on her contract, so he didn't know why she's here. Captain Hopper heard a rumor that Sullivan was leaving, but he said nothing about the rumor. When Andy walked in there and asked to do the next three shifts, he was confused but said yes.

When Andy got home, she found Robert in the kitchen making dinner. After dinner, they just hung out on the couch.

Andy's 22 Weeks and 5 Days... It was finally the day, that Robert's leaving for Seattle. So she decided to do a shift, so that way, Robert going to Seattle would hopefully get out of her head a little bit. He will be gone for the next week. When they woke up this morning, Andy didn't want him to go, but she knew, he had too because they need a place to live. She didn't know how it would go showing up with Robert, and a baby belly, so she knew he had to go to Seattle. After Andy got ready and grabbed everything she needed for her shift, and then she drove Robert to the airport.

Andy and Robert saying Goodbye... Andy: We're going to miss you. Robert: I'm going to miss y'all too. I love you. Andy: I love you too. I wish you didn't have to go. Robert: I know. I also wish I didn't have to go. We'll see each other in a week. Andy: Okay. One week. Don't forget to call when you land. I love you. Robert: I love you too. Bye. (Then they hugged and kissed, and Robert rubbed her belly. After that, Robert left.)

After they said goodbye, Andy got in her car, and just sat there for a minute on her hand on her belly. Then she left for her shift. She's on ambulance duty for the next week. Since Robert's gone, she got three out of four shifts this week. She knew that if she didn't keep busy, she would just sit there and miss Robert.

When she arrived on shift, everyone on the team knew about the baby, but she was glad to see them. When she arrived, everyone asked to see her belly, and they had so many questions.

Robert arrived in Seattle about seven hours later, and Lucas was waiting for him at the airport to take him to his hotel. After Lucas picked Robert up, Robert called Andy and told her that he had arrived.

Andy and Robert Conversation... Robert: I love you. Andy: I love you too. I gotta go, driving to a call. Will call later. Robert: Okay. Bye. (After that they hang up.)

When Robert hanged up, he really missed her but was glad to hear her voice. Lucas dropped Robert off at the hotel, he got checked in and rested.

Later this evening... Andy was getting back from her 5th call today, and she was enjoying it. She was glad to be around one of her firehouse families. All they basically did, was ask about Seattle, and the baby. When she went to go lay down, she decided to call Robert. When she did, she was glad to hear his voice, and Andy fell asleep while talking to him. After he hanged up with Andy, he just rested and missed her.
