Chapter 18

Hello everyone. It's been a long week, so here's my chapter. I hope you enjoy it. 

Andy's 27 Weeks and 3 Days... It's Robert's first day at Station 19. After Robert and the team went inside, Andy and Lucas headed to the parking lot. While they were in the parking lot, Andy talked with Lucas. So I have an idea on how you should ask Vic to marry me.

Andy and Lucas Conversation... Andy: Hey. I've got an idea on how you should ask Vic to marry you. Lucas: Okay. Andy: Can we meet at the apartment to discuss it? Lucas: Yeah. I'll be over later. Andy: Okay.: End of Conversation

After that, Andy went home. All-day she missed Robert, but Lucas showed up a couple of hours later.

Andy and Lucas Conversation... Lucas: Hey. How are you doing? Andy: Good, but bored. Lucas: You can come back to work you know. Andy: Yeah, but I'm not ready. Lucas: Okay. What were you thinking? Andy: I was thinking we should meet with Travis. Then with him, we plan, but I was thinking that we should have Vic come over here a couple of days after we meet with Travis, but that's what I was thinking. Lucas: Okay. So when should we have Travis come here? Andy: I will have to talk to Robert about it, but we could try and do it this weekend. Lucas: Okay. Andy: Do you have a ring? Lucas: Yes. (Lucas show's Andy the ring.) Andy: It's beautiful. Are you scared? Lucas: Kinda, I really don't want her to say no. Andy: Me too. Lucas: I have to get back to work. Andy: Okay. I will get in touch with Travis, and let you know. Lucas: Okay. I guess I will see you later. Andy: Okay. Bye.: End of Conversation

After Lucas left, Andy was bored. So she texted Maya and asked to see if they could meet alone after shift ended at the apartment. When Maya replied yes, she was anxious and excited. She knew that she needed to call Robert, but she decided to do it later. The day went by slowly since she was alone. She knew if she was in Montana, she could just go to the fire academy and be around her family there. So she decided to call her Montana family.

When she called, Captain Hopper answered, and she was glad that he picked up the phone. They talked for a minute or so, and then she talked to the whole team for about an hour. That that it was about 5:00 in the evening. Usually, Robert made dinner, but she had to find something to eat. So she made what she knew how which was a grilled cheese sandwich. So she made a couple of those for dinner. Then a little bit later she texted Robert and asked him to call when he has a free moment. About an hour later he called.

Andy and Robert Conversation... Robert: Hey. How's it going? Andy: I am so bored, but I decided that I'm going to go see Maya after shift. So I'll pick you up, go to Maya's, and you'll go home. Then I'll be home later in my car. Robert: Okay. Are you sure you're ready to tell her? Andy: Yes. I was thinking about telling them one on one. Also, I got an idea on how Lucas should propose, so we might be helping with that. Robert: Okay. I guess you have been busy. Andy: Yeah, but lonely. Robert: I'm sorry. The team is amazing and really talented. Today we have done a fire, car wreck, and some other stuff. Andy: Oh, I miss being out there with y'all. Robert: I miss you being here with us, also. I love you. Andy: I love you too. I am not sure that I am going to tell her who the father is, but can I? Robert: Yes. I love you. A call is coming in. Andy: I love you too. Be safe.: End of Conversation

After that, they hung up, and she was lonely again. She was glad and anxious about telling Maya everything, and she also hoped that Vic would say yes to Lucas.

Over the past few months, Lucas and Robert have fixed their friendship, and Andy has become close to Lucas. She didn't want to choose between her best friend or Lucas. After Andy talked to Robert, she just hanged on the couch for the rest of the night.

Andy's 27 Weeks and 4 Days... When Andy woke up this morning, she was excited, but also anxious. She got dressed in a tight, but loose shirt that doesn't show her bump well. Andy was excited but anxious about going to Maya's. She knew telling Maya everything is going to be hard, but she needs to.

So Andy made a plan with Robert over the phone. The Plan: Which was Andy is going to pick Robert up from work, and Andy will drive to Maya's apartment building. Then Andy will give Robert the rental car keys, and he will go home. Then a little bit later, Andy will come in her car.

Andy left for the station a few minutes after the shift ended. Maya knows that Andy will be over about an hour after shift ended. When Robert saw Andy pull up he was so excited to see her. He knew the plan, but he wished he was there when Andy told Maya, but Andy and Maya are best friends so this is best. Robert knew Andy didn't want to come into the station, because B-shift firefighters are there. When Robert in the car, he kissed Andy, they talked and headed to Maya's apartment.
