"Congrats you two." Remus said as Sirius got up and hugged both James and Regulus.
He quickly let go of the hug though when he heard a muffled growl. He then turned around to see Remus spacing out, having a conversation with Comet. Soon he came back and it was still Remus.
"Sorry, Comet was just being jealous. He is mad but I won't let him come out right now." Remus stated as Sirius hugged him, trying to calm Comet down.
"I'm sorry you have to restrain your hugging time because of him. I am trying to get him to be less protective in that aspect." Remus said as he hugged Sirius back.
By now Remus was sitting up (he was still sore but it wasn't as bad), Sirius was cuddling up to him, and Peter, James, and Reg where on the end of the bed. Reg was basically in James's lap because the end of the beds where tiny.
"You're ok, I understand why he is protective and everything. I still appreciate you talking to him about it though." Sirius said before kissing Remus's cheek and then turning towards James, Peter, and Reg.
They all talked about random things until Madam Pomphrey told the three boys that they had to leave. They complied and with hugs exchanged they went back to their dorms while Remus and Sirius stayed in the Wing.
"Madam Pomphrey, how many more days until we can leave here?" Remus asked as he laid back down, Sirius cuddling back up to him.
"Well considering your wounds have healed quite quickly you will be dismissed tomorrow but you still need to take it easy." Madam Pomphrey replied before going to her office to fill out some paperwork on a different student.
"And then there where two." Sirius joked making Remus chuckle. The two soon fell asleep, not thinking of anything else to do at the time. It was also almost night time anyway so, oh well.
*Jegulus and Peter*
The three friends walked towards their dorm. Regulus basically stays there now because the teachers are allowing it for now.
"So what do you want to do when we get back to the dorm?" James asked as he swung his and Regulus's hands slightly.
"We could play exploding snap?" Peter suggested.
"That's only a two person game, there are three of us. Good idea though." James said with a smile as they reached the Fat Lady painting.
They said that password and walked in.
"You two can play while I study. I've been wanting to catch up on Transfiguration anyway." Regulus said as they walked up and into their dorm room.
"Are you sure? We can do something that all three of us can be in." James asked.
"Yes I'm sure. Go play with Peter so he doesn't feel like a third wheel again." Regulus said with a smile before pecking James's cheek and moving to Sirius's bed to study.
Regulus has been sleeping in Sirius's bed since he and Remus have been in the Hospital Wing. James smiled and turned around to start the game with Peter.
***Time skip to the next day brought to you by my nonexistent inspired***
Currently the four Marauders and Regulus where all at the Gryffindor table eating breakfast. (You could sit with different houses but its not the best thing to do.)
They where all making small talk until an owl came down and dropped a letter infront of Regulus and Sirius. It said "To, Mr.Potter, Mr.Black, Mr.Black, Mr.Lupin, & Mr.Lupin" on the outside of it.
Sirius picked the letter up showing the others the cover of it. They where all very confused so they opened it. Sirius read aloud; "Good morning to all of you, I will need to see you all in my office right after breakfast today to talk about private matters. Please come as soon as possible.
-Signed Professor McGonagall"
He then looked up to see everyone's reactions. James looked slightly pale but not too bad, Regulus looked slightly scared, Remus looked kind of pissed, and Peter just looked confused.
"She is talking about his mum." Sirius stated to Peter while pointing at Regulus. Peter made an "o" face and nodded.
"Well I'm done with breakfast, anyone else?" James asked making the rest of them nod.
"Alright, well let's go and see what's happening." James said as they all got up and started off towards McGonagall's office. James was holding Regulus's hand while Remus was holding Sirius's.
"If anything bad happens then Comet might take over so you are warned of that. But the good part of that is the fact of him protecting you all. He knows that you are my friends and so if there is danger then he will protect you all." Remus said as they walked up to the door.
"Well let's just hope nobody will need protecting." James said with a week smile as he knocked in the door of her office.
"Come in." They heard McGonagall say so they did.
Well they opened the door, when they saw who else was in the room Regulus and Sirius froze while James and Remus went into protection mode......
