The next morning James was woken up by Peter shaking him gently.

"Good morning." Peter said waking Regulus up as well.

"Morning, how did last night go?" James asked as Regulus cuddled back into James's chest, hiding from the sunlight that came through the curtain.

"It was good, we all ran through the Forbidden Forest. Both Sirius and Remus where cut up by some branches, nothing too bad though. Oh and Sirius wants to see you two again." Peter said making them both nod and stand up.

James snapped his fingers and they where both dressed in James's clothes. It swallowed Regulus but it looked adorable and was comfortable.

"Lets go!" James said while linking arms with both Reg and Peter.

"So why didn't you come back last night James? You said that you would but then never did." Peter asked as they walked down the hall towards the Hospital Wing.

Reg went slightly ridged. "We will tell you when everyone can hear. I don't want to have to talk about it twice." James said while pulling Regulus closer to him.

"Oh...ok?" Peter said sounding confused and concerned.

"So what did you guys do when Poppy came in to help Remus?" James asked attempting to change the topic.

"Oh well after Sirius helped cover Remus with the sheets he and I hid under the bed in our Animagus forms until she left with him passed out in her arms. After that we snuck back into the castle and waited until Poppy went to her office before we came in and looked after Remus. When she saw Sirius all cut up this morning she had a fuss and started healing him." Peter explained.

By now they were at the door of the Wing. "That sounds like you all at least had some fun while it lasted." James said before they walked in, instantly being tackled into a hug by Sirius. They all stumbled back slightly while hugging back. Well Peter moved out of the hug so James and Reg could receive a better hug.

"Why didn't you show back up? Is everything ok? Are you guys hurt?" Sirius asked as he pulled away from the hug and looking them over for any cuts or bruises.

"How about we all sit down for that answer." James suggested, worrying Sirius further.

"Ok..." Sirius replied as they all walked over to Remus's bed. Once over there Sirius sat down in Remus's lap, Peter sat in one chair, and James sat down at another chair while pulling Regulus into his lap.

"So what happened?" Sirius asked as Remus wrapped his arms around Sirius's waist.

James looked down at Reg who looked up at him. "Do you want me to tell them or do you want to tell them?" James asked as he ran his fingers through Regulus's hair.

"You can tell them." Reg mumbled while leaning into James's touch. James nodded and then signed everything that happened not wanting to say it out loud. All purebloods where taught sign language along with many other languages when they where younger. Remus knew sign language because his muggle grandmother was deaf so the only way he could talk to her was through sign.

Once James was done they all had tears in their eyes. "Are you going to tell them?" Regulus asked not knowing that James had signed everything.

"I already did with sign language." James whispered back before kissing Reg's head.

All of a sudden Regulus was being pulled away from James and into a strong hug from Sirius. James almost said something but before he could his brain told him not to because he saw that it saw Sirius.

"I know you already promised James but please promise me that you won't do it again. Please, I need you here. If I didn't have you then I don't know what would happen. I would probably kill myself and then Remus would die and James and Peter would be depressed and it would be terrible so please. Don't do it again." Sirius asked as he hugged Regulus tightly to him, his tears getting Reg's shirt wet.

"I promise." Regulus said while hugging Sirius back, a few tears slipping from his eyes as well. When they pulled away Sirius grabbed Reg's arm gently and pulled him towards the bed with him and Remus.

"Sorry Rem but Reg is staying here too and there isn't anything you can do about it." Sirius said with a small smile, knowing that Remus wouldn't really care.

"I actually prefer that he stays with us. He is your little brother so that makes Comet extra protective over him as well." Remus replied while pulling them both into a hug. When they pulled away from the hug Madam Pomphrey walked into the room.

"Good morning boys, how do you feel?" She asked, not even batting an eye at the fact that they where all here at six in the morning. That's right, Regulus and James only got three hours of sleep.

"We are good but could you tell the professors that none of us will be going to class for a few days? Comet is very protective over them all right now and if they are out of our sight for longer than a few minutes then he will most likely go on a tangent until he is able to see them all again. So to protect everyone I would suggest us all not go to classes for the time being." Remus asked/stated making Madam Pomphrey think about it.

"Well I don't exactly want to have more injured students on my hands so I will tell the professors and Dumbledore. You can all leave back to your dorms tomorrow morning but for now you will all have to stay so I can continue to tend to Mr.Lupin and Sirius's wounds." Madam Pomphrey stated making the others nod in appreciation and agreement.

Just before anyone could say anything to her as thanks the doors to the Wing flew opened, McGonagall and Dumbledore came rushing in.

"Mr.Black's I am sorry to tell you but your mother is dead." Dumbledore stated bluntly, while attempting to hide a small smile.

The room fell into a dead silence as Sirius and Regulus's eyes widened...
